It had been my first visit to Beijing, recently on a business trip, and the Empark Grand Hotel was recommended by a Chinese friend. Hotel is really good and had a stay for 2 nights.Had reached past midnight and the check-in took a little long than usual .Language was a problem. The front office staff were trying to help with... Stayed there for a meeting with colleagues. Luckily got placed on 12th floor, a "non-smoking" floor (= less smoke than others). Smoggy outside (also sand-storm), so did not see blue sky even though sun and moon were out and shining through. Maid opened window in room each day, letting in the smog. Air-conditioning was not very effective in rooms or... More

I stayed in this hotel for three nights while attending a conference with Chinese colleagues. I have stayed in many hotels of varying standards in China and found this one to be a solid upper-mid range 4 star hotel. It is sprawling, in the style of a "grand" hotel, but definitely not in the 5 star category (as often described).... More

I have been staying in here in last years. Is a typical china feeling nothing to do with western, so if you looking for that please choose other place. But if you are into having a double size room compared with same price western hotels, good service , breakfast great, then you probably will like it. Don't expect English, be... More

The hotel is a typical modern Chinese grand hotel but with less charm than others. Rooms are large and reasonably well equipped though not all the features are that functional. And furniture heavy Food at the ground level bistro is diversified and perfectly edible though not exciting. The upper scale restaurant on the second floor is very good. The huge... More

My husband and I recently stayed at Empark Grand Hotel in Beijing for 4 nights. After our first day of sightseeing, we returned back to our hotel room to find that our room had been serviced in our absence. We thought this was strange since we put the "Do Not Disturb" light on. In America, if you turn on this... More

Breakfast is nice. Room is spacious and well decorated interior. Quite expensive for this class of hotel in China. But not close enough to the city center. Only 1 person in reception desk could speak English well. You should able to speak basic chinese

The staff is great and speaks a little bit of english. The location is not very good for foreign tourist since it is a little bit far out in the haidian district. The breakfast spread is one of the better ones in the hotels I have been to in Beijing. Has a huge super mall about 5 mins away with... More

Not a luxury hotel compare to prestigious 5-star hotels in the east. The location is not good for tourists because it is far away from sites and public transit/subway. The hotel is very close to a walmart, which is very convinient.

The Empark Grand Hotel in the Haidian District of Beijing is a well constructed and impressive hotel located in Northwest Beijing, about 45-55 minutes from the airport in normal traffic. The hotel parking lot is constantly secured, not only to protect hotel guests but those who shop in a small shopping and night life mall beneath the hotel complex. The... More
