The hotel is severely outdated with the internal rooms barely wide enough or large enough for anyone over 5'4" and more then 60kg. Decor is from the 70's and little provision is made for non-Chinese speaking guests. Bathrooms in the apartments are appalling. The room would be lucky to be 1.5x1.5m with a shower, basin and toilet. Beds are rock... more

landmark is located in a good location to walk around to various hotels and things to see. It's attached to the Hardrock cafe which makes for some easy access to comfort food if your from the USA. Hotel has a nice workout facility and pool. I stayed in the apartments so I can't comment on the hotel part. The rooms... more

I had a reservation at the Sheraton across the courtyard. When I entered the Sheraton it was a madhouse full of so many people. I decided to check out the Landmark and after confirming the rate and asking an Airline pilot checking out if it was good - I checked in. The room was clean and with good shower .... more

Located in the business District of Chao Yang & not far from the embassies, this hotel offers value for money standard rooms and of course, if your budget is more generaous, the more luxurious rooms on also on offer. The buffet breakfast offers both oriental & western style food. From dim sum to noodles to fried eggs/omelettes, cold meats, mountains... more

Spent four nights here in October. The sky was actually clear for a change which, if you have been there in the Summer, you would know is a rarity. The hotel did what was expected. It was a decent, clean room at a reasonable price. The Jackpot Cafe next door had excellent Hong Kong style coffee and a decent breakfast... more

I liked it; the room was quite spacious (enough room to exercise in - a personal requirement!), clean and quiet, and the broadband worked. The windows actually opened a bit, too. Decent breakfasts, and a couple of good restaurants - I recommend the Korean place - elegant and peaceful (and mostly empty - the Western clientele were all playing safe... more

I visiting Beijing with work. Our offices are in the adjacent Landmark Towers and so the 'commute' took about 30 seconds. I found the hotel to be comfortable and the room I was in was quite spacious and quiet. I certainly didn't have any problems with the hotel per se. It more the additional extras that I was troubled by.... more

My stay at the Landmark Hotel was fine. Nothing fabulous, but the room -- smallish, but clean, modern, with all amenities incl broadband in the room -- was perfectly acceptable. I faced the main road, but from the 10th floor, traffic noise was not an issue. For stay-at-home dining options, the enclosed mall has multiple restaurants, incl several fine Asian... more

This place was terrible. The bathroom stunk so badly that we had to spray it before we went in everytime. Since the hotel was under construction, I figure they were having problems with mixing water lines and fresh water and sewage. The only bright part of our day was the breakfast. The receptionists were also generally helpful. When checking out,... more
