Location of hotel is great - in walking distance of Forbidden City. Staff were very helpful and rooms were good and clean. There is a pool and a gym and breakfast is fine but mainly Chinese dishes however there is still ample food for western tastes.

The bell-boy didn't exactly endear himself to me when he turned his back on me upon my arrival with a large suitcase. I was left to struggle with it to reception. The hotel was really great though so this more than made up for his rudeness. I was a little unhappy when, after 4 times calling, the computer in my... More

We spent four nights at this hotel and it was fantastic. It was a great location, friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were clean and spacious. Only a 20 minute walk to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. Any kind of tour available at the front desk or the staff in our case wrote down all our destinations in Chinese... More

This hotel in close to shopping streets and the food market. The rooms are spacious with good beds and nice bathroom (enough space for toiletteries). The breakfast is abundant, most chinese dishes. There is a pool and gym but we didn.t have time to try them.

Stayed for a week at the end of August with my wife, found the hotel via tripadvisor and a recommendation from a friend.Reasonably price and good value for the money. We arrived a day late due to missing our connecting flight because of a delay, had to pay for the night in any case a minor point but it didnt deter from an... Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the bell-hop. Nice entrance lobby and staff at desk were very nice and spoke English. Sofia and Melissa at the tours desk were great - helped us with our excursion to the Great Wall and booked our train to Shanghai along with other recommendations! Room was spacious and beds were comfortable. Bathroom was... More

The hotel has a good location but it definitely doesn't deserve 5 stars because of its overall condition. The room was clean and the toiletries were provided daily. However, we were charged for the tea that we had in the room which is rather ridiculous.

I recently stayed at this property as part of a group attending a conference in Beijing. The room was clean, but nothing special. I stayed on the Club Level and was utterly disappointed by the Club Lounge. They do not stock any beverages such as water and soda for guests to drink. I went for the "Happy Hour" and had... More

It would not matter what floor or that your room faces because it is so smoggy anyway. There was not much character in the hotel or area - just that it's upscale. Shopping in the area is just like shopping in the U.S. - same shops but even higher prices. The staff does speak English but gave us very little... More

We chose the hotel because of its vicinity to the Forbidden City. And it was a perfect choice! We were within the walking distance from the (probably) most fashionable area in Beijing (Wangfujing street) and one of the biggest tourist attractions (ca. 20 mins from the imperial city). A good starting point for any trips. Very nice staff, a wide... More
