Stayed in the Beijing international Hotel on two occasions in November 2014. On the first occasion, I was located in a room on the 11th Floor with a view over the front of the hotel. The room was large, clean and with good facilities. A decent sized bathroom - the bath was lower than I was used to but it... More

Nice Hotel, friendly staff, rooms where fantastic really good place to stay to start your tour of China. Food was ok but not your average thou, hotel facilities where good. The room was very nice and clean.Good, free wifi but limited English speaking channels - CNN on what seems to be a loop - same stories repeated over and over... More

Arrived around 9:00PM, the lobby check in customer services were so lousy that no one is really care who you are, and there is computer system to check in, they still use the phone to call the room service dept to find out whether the rooms are ready or not. If you had been in Las Vegas, you would think... More

I have to admit, we did not check out much of this hotel during our 4 nights. We were on a Friendly Planet group tour and were always so tired when we got back to hotel we did not walk around much. The room was very nice and clean. It was an upper end hotel room- not phenomenal, but very... More

Very dated and badly in need of an upgrade. Rooms are big but very basic. Bathroom is probably 2 star. Stayed there for 3 nights as the my conference was held in the building adjacent to the hotel. Breakfast buffet is nothing to shout about but it seems pretty popular among the people. Cheap room but I am definitely not... More

Stayed for 7 on business. Stayed on the 17th floor and the rooms were great. Big bathrooms with bath, separate shower - quite large. Great lovely big towels which I like. Hairdryer in room. Had to ask for an iron and ironing board as they are not standard in the room. Iron fine but ironing board was not really padded... More

Loved this hotel mostly for their most fabulous breakfast buffet (yummy!), for the shopping convenience, for the large, beautiful, clean rooms, for the great view from rooftop restaurant -- loved, loved it! One of the nicest hotels I've stayed at, not quite Mandarin Oriental but close. Only downside was the wait staff in restaurants -- not sure what the problem... More

Stayed three nights. We had a room on upper floor. Very clean and was also checked by efficient supervisor everyday. All foyer staff were very helpful to requests, advice and questions. Breakfast was very good, though not sure whether waitress staff wanted to be there, didn't look it. Meals were expensive in the hotel, so we dined elsewhere, not a... More

The reception and public areas are very grand, but our two standard guest rooms were very tired and the bathrooms quite shabby. The rooms are a good size and the higher rooms have fantastic city views. Mini bar, safe, hairdryer, tea/coffee, free bottled water replenished daily, 6ft bed (choice of pillows), large TV (CCN & BBC News), free toiletries, bathroom... More
