Although the Wifi regulation was silly(A couple need to show their marriage certificate to get two accesses & one access is only valid for one device), the whole stay was still a very pleasant experience. Location is so convenient to reach the old Beijing area, with so many nice and various restaurants, bars around. The hotel garden is a cultural... More

Everything you'd expect of a more expensive hotel, for a very good price for Beijing, Rooms are clean and large, with lots of cabinets, cupboards, mirrors and chairs all in "period" Chinese style. Included are TV and fridge, aircon, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary bottles of water, and slippers hidden away in one of the bedside drawers. Bathroom was... More

We stayed here for four days. Although is located quite far away from the main road but very quiet at night. A little bit pricey but good experience in Old Beijing quarters. A very good restaurant along the main road. Cheap and good food. The foods were served to the Emperors and families of the Qing Dynasty

Former residence of a minster of Post in the Qing dynasty, this hotel is located in a hutong very close to the beautiful Confucius and Lama temples and to the Drum and Bell Towers in a lively neighborhood. The hotel has a peculiar chinese style, the rooms are pretty, clean and quiet. There's a restaurant that serves breakfast (a bit... More

Housekeeping likes to leave the bottom dirty sheet when they change the bed but are happy to finish the job when you catch them. I is a decent hotel with a .nice atmosphere. The biggest deficiency here is the restaurant. They say they open at 7 AM but the buffet usually is not in place until 7:30 or later. There... More

This hotel has great rooms, well equipped and is located in a great part of Beijing. The hotel has as little extra's, no great lobby or nice place to relax outside your room. The receptionists are friendly, but do not expect a great welcome and service. Breakfast is not great, better go to McCafe, just around the corner. Stroll around... More

Nice hotel with beautiful garden. The room we stayed in (twin room) was really clean and had everything, from water cooker and fridge to toothbrush. The room and the hotel itself are decorated in Chinese style so that you never forget where you are. The hotel is near the subway and all main attractions in Beijing. The staff was very... More

We started our family trip through China in this nice hotel. Rooms are well sized and clean. The entrance to the hotel is a real Hutong entrance. Small road of the main way, leaving the big city noises behind you. Breakfast is slightly over priced.

A totally relaxing place to stay after the hustle and bustle of the city. The reception manager (Jo?) is always helpful, as are all the staff - and they all smile! Restaurant is excellent and competitively priced, even if the food never seems to arrive all at the same time! Strongly recommended - near the Bell and Drum Towers, 60/70... More

Wonderful space in a great neighborhood, close to the wonderful hutongs in the Drum Tower neighborhood. The rooms were relatively small, using Western standards, but very nice. Great breakfast that came with the room: both Western and Chinese food. We especially liked it because it was very close to the subway, which was how we got around Beijing.
