I stayed here for 6 nights and I must say that everything surpassed my expectation. The package comes with daily buffet breakfast and choices are simply sumptuous and the food are yummy! The rooms are also spacious and it comes with high speed and stable free wifi, which is definitely a plus for travellers. The location is also great; only... More

I have stayed here now 5 times, for both business and pleasure. I was in China speaking at a Conference in September and stayed here again in one of the club level suites. My stay, as it has been in the past was perfect. The location is excellent, and you can walk just about anywhere from the hotel. The service... More

Once again, I must that all the TA readers who preceded me and took the time to post a write-up and, once again, the perception I had, after reading several dozen reviews, matched the reality. If you are a regular Peninsula, Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, etc. guest, you might not feel comfortable with the size of the rooms. They are not... More

Located 2 blocks from Wangfujing, the Peninsula is a very convenient location in terms of getting to the subway, hailing cabs, etc. It is a bit more austere of an environment than other luxury hotels but the building is formerly "Wang Fu Fan Dian", which is a historic Beijing hotel. The lobby isn't as grand and golden as other Peninsulas... More

Stayed here for 2 days for business last week. Whilst the hotel is good in many respects, it was nothing special. With so many hotels going up in China and in Beijing, there's so much competition. Travellers are spoiled for selection in the 5 star category, especially in the hardware department. Rooms and decor is slightly dated and although I... More

First time in China and this is the first hotel we stay at for the first 4 days of our 3 week trip. This is a nice hotel. The room size is average but clean, the service is good and the staff are all friendly. One of the best thing was the buffet breakfast. It was the best of all... More

I think the title pretty much says it all! The front desk staff are friendly and their English is excellent. My room was really nice and quiet -- and let's not forget how great the price was! The breakfast buffet had lots of tasty selections. I got to try local delicacies, as well as foods from other countries including from... More

The hotel is in a great location nd the staff is very nice, but the hotel did not meet our expectations. It is nothing like the Peninsula in Hong Kong, Bangkok, etc. I will select another hotel the next time we travel to Beijing. More

I only have good things to say about this hotel. The location is great. Close to the main street, shops, site seeing. Taxi fares around to various places didn't cost more that £5. Average was about £3. Staff were great and very helpful. We went with our 18mth baby, on arrival we were given J&J products for her which I... More

I used to be a great fun of Peninsula Beijing, stayed there lots of times in past, posted nice reviews about this hotel. HUGE dissapointment during my December 2011 trip. Reception staff hardly speaks English, unlike in the past. Room was smelling like a group of chain smokers just left it - asked for a non smoking room while booking... More
