A huge hotel complex in a great central Beijing location in terms of attractions. Multiple dining options in house. Many conference rooms. Also numerous good restaurants around. Rooms are spacious, clean, and generally reasonably equipped but old fashioned and feel dusty. And the food and even coffee in house is mediocre and expensive. The size of the complex makes access... A huge hotel with lots of places to eat inside. Clean room, comfortable bed and extras including slippers and dressing gown to use. It is a short walk from Tiananmen square and the Temple of heaven. I would stay there again.

We had booked a deluxe room for 5nights and was upgrade for free upon arrival. This room was huge on the 9th floor! The room itself was very clean and neat however like the hotel is a little dated with there decor. We only had the buffet breakfast option. The food was very good, with a large selection of western... More

This is one of the older hotels owned by the State. It definitely has seen it's better days. The furnishing and the bathroom were outdated and not completely functional. It takes 20 - 25 minutes (not exaggerating) to get the hot water up to the 16th floor. Two of the nights, the circuit breakers were going off like christmas lights,... More

I spent 4 nights and then 2 nights, booked thru Orbitz (Sept)and was upgraded to deluxe in my first 4 nights of stay without extra pay. The room is gorgeous , large, nice & clean and has a nice view. The staff helped me directions of which buses and subways to take which I enjoyed rather than taking taxi .... More

Very close to Tiananmen Square. From the outside and the public areas the hotel looks 5 star but the rooms are run down, in our room the carpets were stained and dirty, an architrave was hanging off the door and the door veneer was all peeling. The hotel may have been 5 star when it was new but the rooms... More

This was a very classy and clean hotel. It is located in the center but needs like 10 mins walking to the train station.. What if you have bags? Other than that everything was perfect. The room clean, the service good, the internet amazing, the staff very friendly. It was difficult to get there at first, but once you get... More

I can't say it is a bad hotel, but it is time to renew it. Almost every thing is old. People are not very nice, they are used to receive big groups of tourists. Breakfast is not good, bad coffee, bad orange juice, ... It is cheap, and well located, 10 minutes walking for Tien anmen. Don't expect more than... More
