have stayed here 3 times in last 4 years. cant fault it in anyway. very central to all attractions plus only a short walk left or right from hotel to a subway station. breakfast is expensive but buffet styled with plenty of choice, both asian and european. tower A has slightly bigger rooms and the higher you go obviously the... After staying in bad hotels in Beijing, this was a lovely surprise. 1- There are two towers, A and B...Tower A is newly renovated and, to stay in Tower A, you have to pay about $16 USD additional. I stayed in Tower A and rooms are larger than in Tower B, more modern and very clean. 2- Lobby staff speaks... More

We were here for a conference and were told it was a 5 star hotel. Not so, really four at best. Food expensive and mediocre. The location is good, tho, just a few blocks from Tiananmen Sq/Forbidden City. English difficult at front desk and on phone. Room was comfortable.

We stayed here for just one night on route to Hong Kong. This is a lovely looking hotel & the staff, particularly the reception staff were very efficient & friendly. We didn't have much time to sample the hotel's facilities but, as others have remarked, it's a great location for the main tourist spots. For the price I think it... More

I've reviewed this hotel favorably before, and it's still a fine choice. But I am giving it one dot for our recent stay because they pulled a credit card scam on us, charging our US card in dollars at a 4% markup even though I checked the box to charge in RMB. A lot of places in China do this,... More

First impression were very good and I am glad to say for the 4 nights we stayed our impression didn't change. When we checked in after a long 16 hour flight, we were told that there were only smoking rooms available. I was insistent that this would not be suitable and our original request was for a non smoking room.... More

It was quite an oasis as we flew non-stop from the USA and the hotel was very inviting after a long journey. The lobby area is impressive, there are a couple of restaurants, an ATM and money changer, several shops and a decent fitness center with a lovely pool. The rooms were quiet nice, A/C worked very well and there... More

I've stayed here at least 10 times over the last 10 years and it's starting to feel like an old friend. I booked a business level hotel which included the bfast buffet, free wifi and other lounge amenities. Considering the central location, at about $125 it was a bargain. The original tower rooms are larger than the newer addition tower.... More

The location of hotel were excellent, near Qianmen Sqr., flower garden, Forbidden City, museum and also Wangfujing, one of the Chinese capital's most famous shopping streets. My room located in 9th floor, so the view was perfect.

Definitely it's a good hotel at that time but very outdated now and dark stone and depressive ambiance.. Location is not bad, in Beijing you can't really walk everywhere like Shanghai.. We were as club guest but unfortunately we were the only club guest... But they still set up a bits and pieces of everything just for 2 of us..... More
