Novotel Xinqiao is a nice option to stay in Beijing: good location close to Tiananmen, excellent service, clean. I recommend to go for the premier lounge rooms, which are bigger, have an exclusive desk for check-in/check-out and have a special room for breakfast.

We stayed here for 5 nights. The beds are like laying on cement! The staff aren't that friendly or helpful eg - left our Accor card at home and very rudely told NO, your problem and then weren't very nice from that point. Asked for directions - unclear, they need to brush up on their English skills and their manners... More

Location is perfect - just 100 m to subway. Walking distance to Tiananmen. Shopping just around the corner. Nice and helpful staff. I have stayed here 10 times and will not look for another hotel in Beijing.

Stayed 4 nights at this hotel. Rooms are large , clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good cereals , fruit , juice and eggs made the way you want it. Subway station is directly in front of hotel and it is very cheap and easy to use.
