This was the best hotel we stayed at in our tour of china. We were a Canadian group. It is a modern hotel and I (as a single) was given a room on the executive floor , which turned out to be quite different from ones given to the couples in the gourp. It was very nice and quite large.... more

We stayed at the Best Western Beijing Jan 7-10, 2007. The hotel was very nice. The staff was great. The buffet breakfast was very extensive and delicious. The beds were very firm, but comfortable. The only drawback was location. It was quite a distance from the major tourist attractions. Also, be careful about the taxi ride from the airport. Make... more

A fantastic hotel! Having travelled to a few hotels in China this past trip, this was by far the best. Nice room, great staff (many of whom spoke English), fantastic buffet breakfast, and great business centre. The only bad side is the hotel is not very centrally located. It is on one of the "ring roads" on the outside of... more

They have a great music club on their 3rd floor, with the sweetest, friendliest girls you could ever hope to find. English speaking was never a problem. The Hotel had great accomodations which included excercise and sauna facilities. The food downstairs in their coffeeshop was perfect, and the breakfast was outstanding more

The hotel is rather new and well kept. Other than a couple of front desk staff and the clerk in the gift shop, no one else speaks English. We got the "...no idea what you're saying..." look at the restaurant, the spa, from the bell hop, etc. The front deks staff does seem to do the best they can to... more

The hotel was surprisingly clean and well maintained. It's not in a very interesting location though, there aren't any places within walking distances and none of the cabs we used in the 5 nights we stayed here, knew the hotel or the area for that matter. It's a reasonably priced hotel with decent food, but if you're looking to be... more

As with the most of the reviewers here, I found this hotel to be a very pleasant place to stay, and the price was reasonable for this level of hotel. The room was very attractive with lots of accent lighting. And it was accomodating - even that hard mattress was not a problem, given the comfy pillows and linens on... more

Stayed for a a week in mid-March 2005. The hotel staff is very courteous and friendly, and money-exchange at the hotel lobby doesnt cost a fee like it does if you do it at the airport before leaving for Beijing. We used Gate 1 Travel and the included breakfast every morning was REALLY good, especially right before a trip to... more

My partner and I stayed here in March 2004 as part of a deeply discounted tour that we booked in the wake of the SARS scare. We were prepared for the worst, but what we found apon arrival was a brand new 4 star hotel, spakling clean, and a staff who was litteraly falling over themselves to be of service.... more
