I stay here more than one month, working with smooth WIFI in normal days and visit some good place in Beijing on holidays. I meet some firiends from different country and play games on lobby and hangout with them. It's a very convenient location to go anywhere, like sanlitun, lama temple or some famous place in Beijing, and absolutely, many... More

I'll stay there every chance I get. Great prices, clean, awesome courtyard, good social area, everything you need as a backpacker in a single place. Surroundings are traditional Beijing hutongs with lots of cheap eats and large streets with large malls and easy transportation to anywhere in Beijing.

I stayed here for one night with a group of about 6 friends. We stayed in a dorm for 6 people. The main reason we selected this hostel was for the location. It is situated very close to a subway and close to one of Beijing's main tourist / shopping / food streets. It helps a lot that the hostel... More

I've been living in Beijing for the last 6 years and when I have visitors who are looking for the non-standard business-hotel this is where I recommend them to go. Ming courtyard is a beautiful courtyard hotel located in the midst of the traditional Beijing alleyways (hutongs) and is superbly located near Dongzhimen (direct link to airport) and Beixinqiao subway... I stayed a longer time at the hostel, and I had the best time! I met so many people from all over the world, the service is great. The staff can speak English and will try to help you when needed. The best thing about the hostel is that is only a five minute walk to the Beixinqiao subway, and... More

I came to Ming Courtyard in the august 2014, I moved to beijing to study chinese and I needed an hotel to settle down till I'll found an apartment to rent. THe location is very central, and every tourist attraction is within walking distance. Do not hesitate to come there in case you are in Beijing. Airport subway line is very close,... More

The excellent rating is on value alone. Under £25 for 4 nights accommodation in a 4 bed dorm room. This is cheap even by Chinese standards. Location was very good. 10 minutes walk from the metro station and within walking distance of both the lama temple and temple of Confucius. As well as the famous "Ghost Street." The hostel was... Even though the place is only frequented by tourists, it feels like real China (except it is much cleaner). It is located at the heart of the real huttongs (not the touristy ones) and close to everything in old Beijing (confucius temple, lama temple, drum and bell towers). Brand new buildings (less authentics but comfortable) are built around a lovely... More

location is very nice. courtyard also. everything is very quiet. many restaurants around. sleepy staff which is unwilling to help (very passsive). although it very clean for chinese standart the double bed room apartment smells like sewage because the drain of the shower is not closed off so that the air from the sewage fills the room. if the staff...
