The staff were great as they were last time I stayed here in 2011. The place has rapidly deteriorated in quality though. The shower basically didn't drain at all during a shower. The water would get to the point of flooding the shower slippers and bits of debris would come up through the drain. Although there was a lot of... More

The courtyard is easy to access by public transport ( Subway Line 2). I don't have problem to find the place since I have the map downloaded for the taxi driver. Buses to tourist attractions are only 5 minutes walk from the ours yard. The rooms are smaller compared to the pictures. The standard room is small but the Executive... More

Stayed 6 days here and 2 at Holiday Inn temple of heaven. Pro: - in the hutong area, I met nice locals who are less busy than other districts. - convenience with many stores around. You may rent an old dirty bike at a bike repair shop. Make the receptionist write it for you in Chinese if you can't. 50... More

It was very cold in Beijing but our rooms were warm. The hotel is well situated but make sure you enter the hutong from the right side. The staff helped us with tansportaition to the Wall and to the airport

Directions to the hotel: from the airport take the subway to Andingman subway station. Orient yourself so that the river is on your right Cross the bridge over the river. Go west along Ring Road 2... I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights by myself Positive aspects: I really liked the look of it, it is indeed very beautiful, the room was nice enough and had enough space to store your things or even unpack if you would like to. The room was clean and equipped with a TV and also some snacks available again... More

We booked this hotel because we wanted to be in the Hutong area, near a subway, and at a reasonable price. We did not want a western type hotel. This hotel was just what we expected. The rooms were small but nicely furnished. We had everything we wanted. Everything was clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and spoke good... More
