Arrived after a long flight and was expecting a little bit of comfort before I started my back packing trip. When checking in I was informed that I had to pay a 200 Yuan deposit. This increased to 500 Yuan without explanation. Handed my Visa card over which I was then told didn't work. After some strong words from me... More

We stayed at this hotel for five nights at the very beginning of our China adventure and also the final night before flying back to uk. We also were told that we were upgraded to a suite. Room 1015. All very nice, can't fault it.We did not bother with the breakfast,it was expensive and not to a westerners taste. We arrived... More

We stayed here for one night and found it good value for money and we were upgraded to a suite that was nice. One thing about it was room service was difficult to order due to the lack of English and our breakfast came separately as she couldn't understand when I wanted two meals for two people not hard really!... Hotel great. Got up graded to a suite which was nice as we had our 18 year old son staying with us. He got his own space (just a single made up bed) but we had two toilets which was useful. Bathroom lovely. All toiletries and robes. Breakfast an experience. But we managed to find freshly cooked eggs, (we chose... More

The hotel is in a central place of Beijing BUT the employees are too aggressive with the clients and wanted deposit for the mini bar.The receptionist was not able to call us a taxi at 12 oclock. Employers at the reception are sleeping after 12 oclock behind the desks and the corridors are smelling cigarettes.

We enjoyed our stay here, one of the best hotels we stayed at during our 'round the world trip - great service but sometimes nobody at the front desk could speak English, the staff who could, were very helpful. Very nice linens and towels, bathrobes and very comfortable bed - the only negative was a funky smell coming from the... More

Spent here 2 nights in the begining of our China trip. Greate location with walking distance to Railwaystation and Underground, Forbidden City and Shopping streets also are very close to the hotel. Obliging friendly staff with only one "minus" - low level of english. But you should be ready to this for your whole China visit. Spacious room with PC... More

Nice rooms with comfortable beds, good bedding, shower, towels, etc (however, for some reason my bathroom had a foul smell coming from the shower drain; but the room was very clean). Good location, close to tourist attractions. Nice lobby and helpful reception (although not a lot of English spoken, but they try to help). meeting rooms were usual, functional and... More

Hotel was booked by client due to location preference. Pluses: - great location (more for business travelers) - 3 metro stations and Beijing Railway station In 5 minutes walking distance (line 1 and line 2); - big rooms (not old, not too new - just ok); - super comfortable bed! - helpful staff. A bit difficult with English (not so... More
