I really liked the common area. It is very welcoming and nice to hang out and meet people. You can also get some food and drinks there, but they were a little bit overpriced, so I prefered to eat something outside the hostel. They offer good travel advice and especially the hiking trip to the great wall was fantastic! The... More

I've spent 2 nights at Peking Yard Hostel in one of the double rooms. The rooms and bathroom were fairly clean, but the bathroom was pretty smelly from time to time. WiFi worked perfectly for my from room 112, which is not right next to the common room. The staff speaks fluent English and are so lovely. As everyone else... More

Not difficult to find, signing is good coming from the nearby subway station. Lovely hostel in appearance, very nicely decorated with lots of green, nice sofa's. The rooftop terrace is a nice quiet haven in busy Beijing. Room was nice, the beds and pillows were very comfortable compared to Asian standards! Bycicle rental was convenient. On the downside, there was... More

I stayed at peking Yard Hostel for five nights. The staff is friendly, always ready to help, very efficient and can speak fluent English. I had a room by my own and I randomly got one for three people. It could be small for three, but you never spend to much inside the room on holidays. The common hall is a... More

Stayed here for 3 nights with my husband while we were in Beijing. Getting to the hostel though was a nightmare. We arrived late into Beijing from the train station and had to take a taxi. At first the driving didn't seem to know where it was and I was a little nervous with it being 2am. We drove down... More

As our first night in China, we wanted a place that would help us quickly get on our feet. Peking Yard was good for this. Our first concern was a pick-up from the airport just after midnight. The hostel arranged this for us (at a fee which was very reasonable) and it worked out perfectly. We'd initially booked for three... More

We stayed for 5 nights at Peking yard and really enjoyed it. The common area was nice and relaxed. We ate breakfast there each day, which was convenient and their was a range of things to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful. We tried to eat later in the day there twice as there were signs up saying... More

Small hotel located in a quiet and typical hutong street. 2 metro stations nearby and walking distance to Nanluoguxiang (shopping souvenir street and hutong area) and even to the drum and bell towers. Hotel has mixed dorms (ensuite or shared bathroom) and private rooms (ensuite bathrooms) so everyone can fit with his budget. There are also a washing machine (20... More

The decorations are beautiful, and there's a pool table free to use. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We did laundry here for 20rmb for wash and hang dry. If you want machine dry it's 50rmb. The rooms were clean and the arc worked fine. Lots of space in the communal bathroom to put my stuff. Overall a good... More

Great value, great location, incredibly helpful staff; so if you're in Beijing, you have to stay here. There's two subway stations right around the corner and a host of brilliant local places to eat. There's a fridge of beers and water at a pretty reasonable price. The air conditioned lounge is a good place to chill out after a long... More
