I spent a few nights here before starting a G adventures tour through China - really glad I chose Peking Yard. Friendly, helpful staff and met some nice fellow travellers. Good sized communal area with comfy couches, free pool table and reasonable wifi (no access in rooms which is fairly typical). Great area (and no road noise), staying in a... More

This place was so awesome! After our journey through SEA we had a layover in China and stayed here for one night. The cafe/inside of the main building was sooo cute and clean with beautiful plants and decor. Our room was a little pricey but it was very comfortable and clean with great sheets and comforter. All of the comments... More

We spent here 6 nights with a family of 5 in October 2013. We booked a room for 6. The room was ok. The beds were comfortable, but there was not a lot of empty space though in the room. The toilets and showers were shared and located in the hallway, but we knew that beforehand so it was ok.... More

I stayed here for 3 nights during my time in Beijing and I must say I have very little to complain about! Lovely owners, speaks good English, the place has a really good vibe to it, very tastefully decorated, common room/lounge area great to hang out in, meet other travellers, food was good, rooms were really tiny! but clean none... hostel is very beautiful. They have nice courtyard and common room. However, the price of food and laundry are quite high when compare with other hostel. The location is quite good , few minutes from subway. Staffs are nice and helpful.

Very comfy and welcoming common area: Everytime I stepped in, it felt like an oasis away from the hustle of the city. There's nice, calm music, subtle lighting and the atmosphere is relaxing overall. They sell drinks and snacks at the same prices you'd find in any other store. Even better. ..they have Corona beer ^^ Food is good and... More

I really liked the common area. It is very welcoming and nice to hang out and meet people. You can also get some food and drinks there, but they were a little bit overpriced, so I prefered to eat something outside the hostel. They offer good travel advice and especially the hiking trip to the great wall was fantastic! The... More

I've spent 2 nights at Peking Yard Hostel in one of the double rooms. The rooms and bathroom were fairly clean, but the bathroom was pretty smelly from time to time. WiFi worked perfectly for my from room 112, which is not right next to the common room. The staff speaks fluent English and are so lovely. As everyone else... More

Not difficult to find, signing is good coming from the nearby subway station. Lovely hostel in appearance, very nicely decorated with lots of green, nice sofa's. The rooftop terrace is a nice quiet haven in busy Beijing. Room was nice, the beds and pillows were very comfortable compared to Asian standards! Bycicle rental was convenient. On the downside, there was... More

I stayed at peking Yard Hostel for five nights. The staff is friendly, always ready to help, very efficient and can speak fluent English. I had a room by my own and I randomly got one for three people. It could be small for three, but you never spend to much inside the room on holidays. The common hall is a... More
