As our first night in China, we wanted a place that would help us quickly get on our feet. Peking Yard was good for this. Our first concern was a pick-up from the airport just after midnight. The hostel arranged this for us (at a fee which was very reasonable) and it worked out perfectly. We'd initially booked for three... More

We stayed for 5 nights at Peking yard and really enjoyed it. The common area was nice and relaxed. We ate breakfast there each day, which was convenient and their was a range of things to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful. We tried to eat later in the day there twice as there were signs up saying... More

Small hotel located in a quiet and typical hutong street. 2 metro stations nearby and walking distance to Nanluoguxiang (shopping souvenir street and hutong area) and even to the drum and bell towers. Hotel has mixed dorms (ensuite or shared bathroom) and private rooms (ensuite bathrooms) so everyone can fit with his budget. There are also a washing machine (20... More

The decorations are beautiful, and there's a pool table free to use. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We did laundry here for 20rmb for wash and hang dry. If you want machine dry it's 50rmb. The rooms were clean and the arc worked fine. Lots of space in the communal bathroom to put my stuff. Overall a good... More

Great value, great location, incredibly helpful staff; so if you're in Beijing, you have to stay here. There's two subway stations right around the corner and a host of brilliant local places to eat. There's a fridge of beers and water at a pretty reasonable price. The air conditioned lounge is a good place to chill out after a long... More

The place is in the hutong, if you wanna live in one, it's perfect for you. Stayed in a 6 bed dorm, too bad they only have mixed dorm. Room is basic but clean. Dorms are placed on the other building, across the main one with receptions and has its shared bathroom. Shared bathroom could be a bit crowded at... More

according to the booking.com policy, and cancellation or modification can be done by 6pm without additional charge, the fact I was told I have to be charged half day fee for cancelling the 2nd day booking at 7am in the same day which I thought doesn't make sense to be charged, the reason the hotel receptionist told me that charge only for... This hostel is close to becoming Beijing's best, and with a few tweaks should be a firm favourite for travellers of all types and ages. The central communal area is fantastic and feels more like a plant nursery than a hostel. The sofas are comfy, next to radiators and books it genuinely feels like a living room. Outdoor spaces are... This property is a mix of hostel with dorms and boutique hotel with deluxe rooms. Hidden behind an inconspicuous door in a traditional Hutong neighborhood (Wangzhima) is an urban oasis full of flowers away from the hustle and bustle of Beijing. A subway stop is a five minutes’ walk away and connects you to the whole city. You may have... More

Excellent place! The staff was fantastic. The flowers were beautiful. The food was very good. The staff provided help in finding places in Beijing. They have different room choices to meet everyone's needs. The location was perfect- so close to the metro so you could reach everything. Clean and nice!
