Well trained friendly staff, good and healthy fresh food, gorgeous comfortable suites, location is very convenient, bar is excellent for drinks, flirt and to meet, lounge is relaxed and comfortable, breakfast is outstanding, only the Ritz in SH was better.

Stayed here on business the other week and I was extremely happy about the room, the view (!!) and the service. Due to the cold it was a bonus to be connected to a large shopping mall with cafes. Very clean and very orderly.

In Beijing for a short stay - absolutely the best customer service and exceptionally large room overlooking gorgeous Beijing - luckily we arrived on a clear day. A great location everything within walking distance. I found the breakfast buffet to be so-so, but I've found this with many Shangri-la's wondering if ''processed'' food has made its way into this top... More

During my stay at the China World Summit Wing Beijing, I requested a late checkout to 4 pm on my departure date since I wasn't feeling well the morning. Hotel granted the request which I appreciated. It was all a pleasant stay until the time of checkout. I was feeling dizzy and was slow in packing. So I went to... More

This is a very impressive property and certainly a crown jewel of the Shangri-La brand. Physically, the hotel is immaculate and gleaming, combining modernity with somewhat traditional and elegant decor. Service, in particular, far exceeded our expectations. Despite the fact that we were only staying for two nights, and that I have no status with Shangri-La, we were made to... More

This is such a fantastic property! I can think of very few I've been to that exceed on all fronts. Great Gym and spa area, incredible views (very little smog when we were there which was lucky), lovely staff, large rooms, great location and an incredible wine list. This place should be the go to for any travel but business... More

I have stayed in this hotel many times for business. The hotel is located from the 60th+ level of the high-rise building which provides beautiful views in all rooms when the sky is clear. The property is beautiful and service is exemplary. No request is too much trouble and every staff member is quick with a smile and greeting. The... More

A few tips: 1. Note that change of elevator required on the 64th floor where there's a lobby. Right when you get on the elevator you'll also notice that there's 3 unique floors that are directly accessible from the main elevator (I forget which ones). They aren't backlit and are quite hidden. Ideally you can get a room on one... More

Have not been in Beijing for many years, and this time we left our accommodation in the good hands of the staff of Shangri La at the China World Summit Wing. Our room is on the 70/F, a perfect view of the CCTV headquarter and a bird eye view of the capital. A very good view of the city during... More

We visited for afternoon tea on December 6th.We had reserved two vegetarian afternoon teas. On arrival we were offered an afternoon tea but without sandwiches with the waitress saying 'this is vegetarian'. Yes, it is vegetarian but it is also not afternoon tea. We are surprised that a Shangri La would not be able to accommodate vegetarians with a simple... More
