- Friendly and very helpful staff - David, Jack, Carl & Sally. Without David’s help, we wouldn’t be able to book our train ride to Tianjin. He was very patient and accommodating. - Staff speak good English; they would even write in Chinese the places where we want to go so no hassle at all - 10 mins. walk from... More

My mom, sister and I stayed here on our recent trip to Beijing. We had arranged for transport from the airport to here upon arrival, so we had no problem getting there and then once we knew where we were, we never had trouble finding it again. We felt if we ever got lost anywhere in Beijing, all we had... More

I really hated Beijing....I have never seen a city show such contempt for tourists. But people at this place are the exception. Very friendly, and well, cute. they didn't bat an eyelid when I woke them up at 3am in the morning to go for my runs. I was very close to the bar, so it got a bit noisy,... More

Spent loads of time looking for the 'right' place to stay in Beijing. I read it was hard to find so I organised an airport transfer, only to be taken to their sister hostel. Not the hostels fault, but a 15 min walk turned into an hour walk, as no one could help us find it even though we had... More

I'm already planning on coming back here should I do another trip to Beijing. This is a nice hostel. The room is a little small but comfortable. My friend and I are in a private double. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hostel is a little hard to find but when I called and asked for help a staff... More

We stayed here 23 nights. Difficult to find, there is construction sites right next door and it does get noisy early in the morning. But it is only 5 minute walk to subway and 20 minutes to the pedestrian walking street with heaps of food. The room was average. We booked a double but were given two single beds pushed... More

There was writing on the wall underneath.instead of washing the wall they taped a sheet of printer paper onto the wall.place was dirty and not vertu comfortable. Super hard to find,especially... Our party of 5 stayed at happy dragon Beijing from march 23-28. We booked 2 rooms. Pre-arrival communication went very well. Odours and smells from the larger 5-bunk room ( used 4 bunks) were terrible. It was like he toilet was open to the sewer. We advised management each morning. They sprayed something peripheral to make it smell better. By... More

From the outside hotel did not look too great. However room we had was clean , everything worked as it should. Staff had been pleasant and helpful. We recommend buying the tour for the Great Wall from the hotel. We did the mistake buying the cheaper tour and we spend one and half hour on the wall and six and... More
