I have very less to say, i left the hotel after the first night, although I had already paid for 5...The free wifi didn't work at all, I had to ask the receptionist to use the computer. At first he also wanted me to pay for it... The receptionist don't speak enough english to have a decent conversation or informations... More

We stayed at the Hutong Inn for 5 horrible nights. Our room was situated between reception and the office and what we presume were other staff rooms. Conseqently, we were woken up all through the night and early hours by phones ringing and staff shouting to each other. We had a room with a private bathroom, this was probably the... More

The hotel is good value for the money. Location is good but hard to find at night, especially in the rain. Can't find it b/c the taxi dropped you off too far away? Follow the signs to the Language School. It may say "Chinese Language School" and/or just "Language School". Face their doors. Look left. go to end of alley.... More

The hotel is clean, cheap and has a good location. Some rooms doesn't have any windows though.. If you travel low budget i can recommend this hotel. To find this hotel is not really easy though. Make you sure have a chinese address with you to show to the taxi driver.

The staff were very very helpful, with personality enough not feel like you were talking to automatons The bar - great view - perfect for the fireworks The room - a little rough (i.e towels and sheets perfectly clean laundered but a bit frayed) but clean and everything you could possibly want on hand Perfect location once you get there... The hotel itself was good, the staff were helpful in helping us find the way there as its location is quite hidden from the main street. It is also not so close to the subway station (about 15 mins walk) but it's within walkable distance to the famous Nanluoguxiang and other attractions. It is a hustle and bustle outside the... More

We stayed at the Beijing Hutong Culture Inn for one night, and overall it was a good place to stay for the amount we paid. We arrived earlier than check-in time, as we took an overnight train from Shanghai. We waited a bit, but they prepared our room even though check-in wasn't for another 3 hours. The staff was pretty... More

So it was a little while since we stayed here,...firstly we couldn't find the place some local girls used the phone and rang them and then walked us to the place while on the phone to the inn and all they wanted in exchange was a photo how sweet! We wished we stayed over in the main hutongs amoungst everything!... More

I got extremely lost on the way as I took the Airport train to Dongzhimen station and decided to walk (bad idea)... Taxi drivers don't know where it is (which I read earlier). I finally got there after someone gave me directions on a bus. Best advice would be to transfer at Dongzhimen and go to Andingmen station and walk... More

Hotel was very good value. It was also very well located not far from the drum tower or forbbiden palace. The only downside is that most taxi drivers won't take you directly to the hotel. The huntong streets are very narrow for cars. The area has lots of character.
