This Marriott is relatively new, but well managed and in a very central location with easy access to the City and the airport. A true alternative to the Kempinski down the road. The booking of the more expensive executive club floor is definitely advisable as it is true value for money since the club lounge offers great breakfast and a... More

We stay at Marriott NE a lot for business. Really nice staff. However, starting to get rough around the edges(refer to pics). No real A/C compressor, only a fan. Like a lot of Asian hotels, they install the cheapest HVAC systems-not up to Marriott or 4/5 star standards. Our co workers now stay at the JW, think we will join... More

Spent 5 nights here, including a 2-day business meeting. Sandy Wang and her staff went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. From check-in, to the concierge, to attentive restaurant manager Sebastian and the cocktail-shaking expert tending the bar, these folks know how to make you feel welcome. The business facilities were well-arranged and someone was always on... More

We stayed at this hotel with our three children just after the New Year and really, truly enjoyed our stay. I was tempted to give a 5 star rating, and only held back because of the less-than-scenic location. But as a stand-alone hotel, this ranks up in the top quarter for me (and I work for a consulting company and... More

Very good hotel. Great service. Starbucks in the lobby. Very friendly staff. Good location. Very comfortable rooms. I would highly recommend this hotel. I stayed there for three nights and I had no complaints. The restaurants were pretty good. The Executive Lounge was great for breakfast.

Was there for a family winter holiday and this hotel provided good resting and food. Good location to many central attractions. But walking is not recommended unless one can really walk far. Opposite hotel has a 7-11 store for 24hr needs. A noodle house was also nearby to offer local taste. Room cleaning was perfectly done. So prefect that they... More

I regularly visit the Marriott - although its been some time since my last visit. The staff are ever so professional, courteous and helpful. All amenities are laid out and there are no hidden charges. Rooms are very clean and Rewards Members are well taken care of. Negatives: I would still like to see a better version of in-room dining... This hotel is located very close to CBD (central business district) and just 5 minute walk to the US Embassy. There are some restaurants and shopping in the surrounding area. You will get cold shoulder when you tell the taxi driver at the airport about your destination. The reason is usually the taxi will be in a queue waiting for... More

Stayed in this hotel between 17-24 Oct, although I don't find any difference between this Marriott and a Courtyard which I used to stay in Shanghai (Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai Xujiahui), overall experience was pleasant. Back this week again on business (10-14 Nov) and noticed the following short of expectation: 1) Room wasn't cleaned 2 days in a row: returned... More
