This hotel is very modern and chic. the rooms are impressive in size & decoration. The shower room in particular is impressive and the best I experienced in Beijing. There are robes, slippers and many useful complimentary things for your use. Bottled water is also complimentary. The breakfast is a good standard for China. The negatives are the poor sound... While it was certainly a genuine cultural experience there were a number of problems. The lack of English speaking staff was a major problem. Only one member could speak broken English & if he was not on duty communication was impossible. The rooms were OK but no wardrobes or hanging space & bathroom was not efficient because of bad lighting... More

We arrived at 2:00 am very tired and nobody in the lobby was able to speak even basic english, once in the room we realized than the pictures in internet are very different to the real rooms, very small rooms, the shower is so bad designed that you get all the floor wet after using it. next day on breakfast... My family & I stayed for 2 nights B & B at this hotel in June. Price was very reasonable at £65.00 for a double room for 2 nights. Breakfast was a broad selection of fruits, cereal, bacon, eggs etc, juices & hot drinks as well as a Chinese selection. The bar drinks (not wine but that's extortionate everywhere in... More

This is a very beautiful hotel. But the hospitality and service left much to be desired. The price quoted does not include the ¥500 deposit which was not mentioned on the website or the fact that you must pay the bill in full when checking in. Even though I requested a room with a twin bed, and confirmed the details,... More

This is the hotel with the worst hospitality I have ever stayed in. A bell boy Was standing nose to nose with me fists folded just because I cancelled my second day tour which I had just enquired about and never confirmed that I was going. The reason for the cancellation was clearly explained to him before I cancelled it... More

Our family has recently stayed in this hotel (end of May 2014). Overall experience is average, and the experience of the last day spoiled it completely. Our little son broke a cup. When checking out, they wanted to charge 50 RMB for this cheap cup! My husband refused to pay this ridiculous price and started to bargain, at the end... More

Not recommendable at least for the people from outside of China. Never trained customer service barely communicating in English Lousy door keys which you supposed to pay for if the one become broken ( and it will be!) Pretended to have 4 stars the hotel doesn't have any bar or other than breakfast room restaurant. Humble selection of the meals... More

Round shower screen next to bed, no privacy as no door on ensuite, not good if sharing. Dark lighting in ensuite makes it impossible to apply makeup. Reception area looks and smells terrible. Rooms don't smell though. Breakfast offers good choice for Western tastes. Don't pay for tickets from reception, get directly from venue. Friends bought tickets from reception for... More
