I was looking for a place to stay in Beijing with my daughter that is near to tourist attractions. I went over the hotels that were part of the tour package and decided to try on King Parkview Hotel. We checked in for 6 days and 5 nights. The hotel has all the basic amenities needed like hot and cold... More

Had checked the hotel on tripadvisor prior to trip and came to the conclusion that it was good enough for the price we were paying. However, it was quite dirty, unhelpful staff (with the exception of the travel agent), spoke NO english and very poor amenities. Staff didn't understand you and just gave whatever information or direction came to their... More

Horrible, rude, surly staff. Amenities okay. When i arrived I was in tears after a taxi driver had ripped me off. Receptionist very rude. Literally threw map at me when I asked about local area. Caretaker shouting at me when I asked him to fix the light. Awful.

We stopped here for 3 nights in May & used it for a base to explore the sights. I thought the room was kept clean & reception staff were friendly. Breakfast was just OK, not a great variety. There is a roof terrace by the restaurant which offers great views over the forbidden city one side & Jing Shan Park... More

Clean, comfortable and the AC worked better than our hotels I stayed at in other. major Chinese cities. Good location, decent breakfast. Internet only wired in the rooms so I'd recommend picking up a small travel router (they are tiny and cheap these days). Great view from the rooftop!

A superior room at this hotel was offered us for one night by the Chinese Travel Company, VisitOurChina. The hotel is located on a historical site, being the mansion of a daughter of the great Qianlong Emperor and the site of the Imperial Peking University. The Mansion is now a banquet hall. We had read poor comments about this hotel which... More

Good location + good value + a good buffet breakfast = a great stay. Stayed for 3 nights at a triple room which has a mezzanine in it, we were satisfied with the room, tho' we had a hard time locating our room initially, there was no one to assist us, but nevertheless, found the room anyway. The buffet continental... More

Don't get confused by the name of this hotel. There is no park and certainly no king to be viewed here. The hotel is set in a lively back street, but within a 30-minute walk of the Forbidden City,Tiananmen Square and the main shopping street. Otherwise take a cheap taxi. (We had twice a bad experience with a rickshaw driver).... More

We stayed for 3 nights in April. The position is great, you can walk to the Forbidden City, and all the parks around the Forbidden City. Some reviews said that the taxis could not drive up to the front door, but ours did. You can also check in early. We arrived a 7.30 a.m. and our room was ready though... More

This is a good budget hotel. It's not the nicest hotel. Though the lobby area is nice and the roof top terrace roomy, the hallways on the hotel room floors smell musky and look worn. Nor is it a particularly savory area (middle of a old hutong area). However, the hotel is good for those on a budget. And the... More
