The location is ideal. You walk out of the hotel and Jingshan Park is at your doorstep. Turn left and you have the local markets. Small shops haave food and drinks available. A further 5 minutes walk and you are at Beihai Park which also has a larger market area outside. If you feel really energetic the Forbidden City and... More

Stayed there for one night, but it was good overall. Nice area around. Very calm for central Beijing. Reception doesn't speak english, only chinglish. Wifi has some questions to be asked. A cool hutong street just around the corner.

Location: perfect! You can by feet to the Forbidden City and all the other highlights around it. Five minutes by taxi or rickcha from the new shopping area. Rooms: perfect. Clean. Comfortable beds. Breakfast is okay. We had a fantastic time in this hotel and we can tell you: It's a good choise!

King Parkview Hotel was our first stay on a trip through China up to Hong Kong. So we didn't know what to expect. The hotel is well located close to the Tiananmen Square and the Entrance to the Forbidden City (about 20 minutes walk). Metro not too far from the hotel so you can go everywhere in Beijing easily. Bank... More

We were there for four days. We faced a pathetic situation as they charged Y100 for a small stain on the bed sheet. You should not take kids to this hotel. My recommendation is tour group should not recommend this hotel to their people. The funny thing is they bring the bed sheet to the reception and showed it in... More

I came to Beijing with my parents. I was looking to give them a really comfortable experience. But this is not the hotel for us. The hotel is very old, located in a very old alley behind Forbidden City and very far away from the access. I choose this hotel as it was recommended on frequent traveller program from Aeromexico... It's a budget option, hence there are no frills, and it's not as clean and luxurious as other hotels. However, it's perfect if you just want a room to sleep in if you're out sightseeing all day. It's a 30 minute walk to the south (main) entrance of the Forbidden City, there are lovely little stalls and restaurants in the... More

I arrived around 1 am and my first impression of the entrance/laneway was next to a massage sign was not good. However, daylight gave a different impression. The Hotel is down a lane way but the lane way leads from a nicely finished street with various stalls and shops which were convenient. The gent on reception understood enough English to... More

The hotel itself isn't bad. Wifi only works in lobby, but it's china, so mostly everything is blocked anyways. Warm showers, comfortable beds. However, upon check out.... somthing I've never seen happen, happened. They go to your room, check your sheets.... and if there is the slightest stain, marking etc.... they bring the sheets out in the middle of the... More

Me and 2 of my friends stayed here about a month ago. We originally booked on hotels.com and bought the two single bed room thinking we could buy a cot and not have to pay the extra money of upgrading to a 4 person room suite. Long story short. We were wrong. Apparently that room was too small to have... More
