We stayed here from 20-24 November 2014. We had a nice stay - I am a simple person as long as there is hot and cold water, good bed, good door locks, towels for face, body and feet, shampoo and body shampoo with tissue and cleans everyday - I am okay. But I am lost in translation with them. Their... More

A fair drag from an underground railway station Dongsi. The last few hundred metres before the hotel, which has no street front presence is through a rather rough local street with a lot of traders. Interesting, but after a long walk one starts to wonder if this is the right place. The hotel is in a courtyard and fairly quiet.... More

The room of the hotel was oke, except the bathroom was filthy with fungus. The employers don't speak English of only just a bit. They don't have laundry service. Breakfast is good with multiple choices, mainly Chinese orientated. Location is very well near the Forbidden City (5 minute walk).

I stayed here as part of a tour, but extended by 2 nights prior to my stay so I could do my own sightseeing without the hassle of changing hotels. On paper the location is excellent, very close to the Forbidden City. But it's a bus ride to the entrance and it's also a bus ride to the nearest metro... More

The hotel is in a good location and I found it very comfortable, I slept very well here. The room was decent, sufficiently clean and quiet, it had a good and quiet A/C which was very welcome since it was 35 C outside. Several of the staff are unhelpful, the WIFI is not good (only in lobby and very slow),... More

I stayed at this hotel as part of an intrepid tour for 4 nights. I had no trouble with the car I had booked finding it, the driver took me straight there, so no problems, but I did book and pay a premium of £36 on the internet via Viator.com. A cab from the airport would have been about £15,... More

I was looking for a place to stay in Beijing with my daughter that is near to tourist attractions. I went over the hotels that were part of the tour package and decided to try on King Parkview Hotel. We checked in for 6 days and 5 nights. The hotel has all the basic amenities needed like hot and cold... More

Had checked the hotel on tripadvisor prior to trip and came to the conclusion that it was good enough for the price we were paying. However, it was quite dirty, unhelpful staff (with the exception of the travel agent), spoke NO english and very poor amenities. Staff didn't understand you and just gave whatever information or direction came to their... More

Horrible, rude, surly staff. Amenities okay. When i arrived I was in tears after a taxi driver had ripped me off. Receptionist very rude. Literally threw map at me when I asked about local area. Caretaker shouting at me when I asked him to fix the light. Awful.

We stopped here for 3 nights in May & used it for a base to explore the sights. I thought the room was kept clean & reception staff were friendly. Breakfast was just OK, not a great variety. There is a roof terrace by the restaurant which offers great views over the forbidden city one side & Jing Shan Park... More
