Really nice place and staff. Clean, near the metro and easy to access to the main attractions in Beijing. I would love to go back to Beijing at some point and we would definitely stay here again. Very recommended and good value-price.

The good:- 1. Room is adequate yet comfortable. 2. Near to everything. Just few bus stops away from Forbidden City, Gulou Xidajie, Beihai Park & Niujie Mosque. Yes please use the bus. Subway transfers is so tiring. The reception kids can guide you how. 3. A halal eatery just 2 doors down, selling nice beijing satay (it's more lively during... More

Experienced China travelers know that any hotel located in a hutong is NOT going to be a marble and glass edificed 5 star hotel. The reviewer just before my review, mizz_zero who has yet to stay at this hotel, should cancel and find another place. She is sure to be disappointed. This was my first stay at this hotel. I... More

I have booked 4 rooms for an upcoming trip in December after reading the glowing reviews of the rooms and the staffs here. After being told that a late check out wasn't allowed, I tried to arrange for a paid extension of one of the rooms for my parents since they're flying out past midnight and would like to rest... We stayed here for 2 days... thank God... ! The reception is very helpful the people on night duty. The ones on the morning shift just don't bother too much. You think this is wow when you enter the reception its a quaint little place just beautiful but the moment you get into your room you are so dissed.. Plus... More

I rate this excellent because of the value you get for your money and location. Do not stay here expecting 4 or 5 star service. The little cafe is great, excellent coffee and cheap beer. The upstairs eating area is comfortable and eclectic. The hotel is located in a good area with easy access to the metro. We had the... More

This hotel generally met my expectations, the room was average size, a bit dirty - didn't look vacuumed to say the least and there was a fair bit of mould in the bathroom, but for the low price of the economy room I wasn't expecting too much. However this hotel does have great staff, all the receptionists have good English,... More

This is a great little hotel, the staff are very helpful and obliging. The cafe serves good snacks and coffee all day/night. Its a little bit quirky in a nice way. The Hotel rooms are good, quite large for the price. Very clean and comfortable. Good food to be had in the street/alley, really enjoyed our stay. We walked from... More

Great hotel, beautiful staff ,clean room ,pretty big room size, great location, 100% stay here again. Amazing coffee, nice place to relax and get away from the crazy streets of beijing. Restaurant next door on the right side really good too.
