PROS: Room was cozy, clean, and well maintaned. Has a little store in lobby with good prices on things. Is not far from many attractions and tour guides will meet you in lobby. CONS: Mattress was hard as is customary in China. You could not lower the temp on A/C unit past 25C

If you get a good price the Hotel is a good possibility for a cheap stay in Beijing.. Service is correct. Room presentation on the Internet is much better than the reallity. Rooms are clean.

Really the only positive for this hotel was location. Convenient, even if surrounded by construction and a solid 10 minute walk to the subway. For the price, you can do a lot better in Beijing. The personnel was very friendly, but not everyone spoke english - and those that did didn't do too well. For a three-star hotel the room was rather lower level and too loud - one of the reasons that I got little sleep. very good place for budget travelers. unfortunately the reception girls don't speak English (except for one for one of the), so anyhting you want besides checking in and out it's hard to explain. there's a 24/7 construction site just opposite the hotel, so expect a lot of noise even durring the night. other than that everything was fine.
