Ok, this hotel is amazing except for one small thing, you can't control the temperature of your room. First, the location is perfect and what you get for the price is amazing. The rooms are clean and beds are comfy. But since I went in winter, the centrally control heating system had the room at toasty level day and night.... More

I 100% recommend organising collection from the airport as we made a huuge mistake in thinking we could get the train and then a taxi as it was impossible and nobody spoke English which was probably ignorant of us for assuming somebody would! Anyway great location, right around the corner from shopping centre. You can walk to Tiananmen Square as... More

I actually booked here at late notice after finding another hotel in Beijing quite unpleasant. So things started well with them allowing me to check-in at at 1030am but it was downhill from there. They made me pay a 1500 deposit which they reversed when I left although I dare-say I'll be chasing that up for weeks. The room was... More

I stayed here mainly due to the location, it was recommended by a friend. It was worth staying in this place as it is well placed and most of the interesting places are walking distance. Wafijung St is 5 mins (trendy shopping; souvenirs in alleys; night st food); Tinnamen Sq and Forbidden City are 10 mins; National Museum of Art... More

Location is very close to Forbidden city. Subway is just on the corner, and also close to a popular shopping street. Note: If you are booking the standart room, usually they do not have any window, so it may disturb if you stay longer than 1-2 nights. You better check the details on your booking page. Front desk is really... More

How should I start this? Well, I booked the hotel and read reviews and I thought I picked the right choice. I did in a way, and these are the pros and cons, you're the judge! Pros: - The price is very, very reasonable for its location. Considering this is right next to (3 minutes walk) the Wangfujing Shopping Street,... More

We had 2 taxis take us from the airport to our hotel and neither of them could locate the hotel, despite directions being written in Chinese.. Granted, it was very late at night, but we were getting a bit frustrated when WE finally located it. The staff were expecting us as we had booked the night before and advised that... More

The location of the hotel is unbelievably good considering the price. It is 350 meters from the nearest subway station, and just a block away from Tiananmen square. The hotel is literally a stone's throw away from Beijing Hotel and Grand Hotel. However, I am sorry to say that this is where good things end. When we checked in, the... More

Close (walking distance) to Tienanmen Square and the forbidden city - staff are friendly and speak some English - they let us book in early after our long flight. Room was bog standard but had the usual stuff (safe, telly etc). About 10 minutes walk from the subway station. If you're western and new go to the nearby mall (east... More

Easy to get to - from Wanfujing Metro. About 10 minutes walk to both Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. Very safe area and well lit. Room was fine, little dated but comfy and clean. Shower was large and good pressure. Wifi fine in the room. Fridge and kettle were welcome. A/C worked well. We booked when the hotel was on... More
