I am nearing the end of a two week stay at the Yosemite. Outwardly the hotel looks very smart, my room was large and furnishings fine. However, I found both maintenance and service left a lot to be desired. On checking into my room I found three lights weren't working, then next day, having bought milk and juice from the... More

We chose to stay here to get away from the crowdedness of Beijing City. However, we were quite disappointed with our choice. While the scenery and the quietness of the surrounding is great, the bed in the room is very hard and uncomfortable. The room is clean and not bad for the size. We went there to use the pool,... Yosemite Hotel Beijing (Yosemite Club) Stayed here 4 Nights Wednesday April 17 to Sunday 22nd, 2013. The Yosemite is a sprawling resort type hotel with indoor and outdoor pools and all of the fixings you’d expect from a 5-Star luxury hotel including a quality Tibetan Spa and Health center. The Yosemite also has an extensive housing compound right next door.... More

I had a weeklong stay here in March of 2013. The room was larger than newer properties, but not as clean as some of the newer properties around the airport. The breakfasts were basic, but not too bad. Often, there were only a few guests eating in the dinning room. The gym was nice and functional. The location is nice... More

Let me get the one big negative out of the way: The bed is rock hard. I mean pool table hard. They all are. I hear it's an Asian thing, is what it is. Otherwise the hotel is nice. There's a Jamaica Blue Cafe onsite, good coffee and food. There's a gym/spa and salon onsite too. Small grocery [Jenny's] across... More

This hotel looks amazing upon first entering but the rooms are a bit of a disappointment. The room was very small and lots of the fixtures were broken or falling off the wall. The balcony outside our room had litter all over it. The staff was friendly and tried hard to answer our questions. Breakfast seemed to change every morning... More

Very arrogant and not helpful staff, pure speaking English. The rooms: depending what you will get ...but we got a terrible one, later moved to better one. Do not hurry for the breakfast, staff will be late a half an hour. It is difficult to get a taxi if not ordered from hotel. Hotel is far away from many attractions... More

I found the Yosemite Hotel to be a strange experience after staying at the Red Lantern hostel. Yosemite has an impressive exterior and lobby, everything is sleek and beautiful and Western. The rooms are very comfortable and nice. However, there are strange quirks. The place felt strangely empty - we came down at dinner time and were the ONLY people... More
