Absolutely loved our stay from check-in to check-out. What a great stay here! Recently traveled to Beijing 2nd week of April and stayed on the 8th floor. We had a street facing room, and never heard the city at night! The Front Desk spoke excellent english. The rooms were clean, though fixtures could use an extra buffing. Considering it is... More

A welcome touch was the Italian staff member who greeted Westerners in the grand lobby, to be sure we found our way. China is challenging on your own. The Legendale was almost embarrassingly luxurious, though we were grateful for the respite in our utterly quiet, sumptuous room. I will certainly book this hotel again.

We organized for the second time a French private dinner for 20 embassies' guests at Petrus restaurant. Outstanding evening once again! The menu prepared by the French Chef was exceptional: delicate meals, such a delicious taste of French cuisine ... the atmosphere is deeply warm, you feel like in an old French castle. And the service quality reaches highest standards,... More

Having recently got off a plane from the UK and following our first stop on an 11 day tour at the Lama Temple, we decanted from the coach at the Legendale. I cannot recall what I was expecting at the start of our holiday but it certainly was not this. Late 18th- early 19th century French style with reproduction furniture,... More

The only gripe we have is that the staff barely spoke english. front desk and concierge. the person on the 16th floor lounge was better.. we asked.the concierge for walking directions to the forbidden city and t square and she sent us in the wrong direction and we got lost.... Legendale is a 5 star experience and the location is bang on. Great rooms especially the bathrooms- get used to voyeurism but the blind does ease that unless part of the ambiance.! Glass screen between bedroom and Bathroom. Fabulous decor and service, good breakfast and dinner. If you happen to be a guest of Travel Dept on their very well... More

You are surrounded by luxury from the moment you enter the lobby to the second you enter your room. We booked one "family suite" and one regular room and found both to be very elegant and well appointed. The restaurants were beautiful, but appeared to be quite empty most of the nights. We only ate at the Chinese restaurant -... More

Four nights in this faux-colonial style hotel in the centre of Beijing. From the uniformed doormen through to shirts returned from the laundry with bow ties attached this was a proper hotel experience! Nice big rooms, a huge foyer/atrium and extremely attentive staff. Five restaurants - we went twice to Petrus great food but weird service even though empty! Excellent... More

Located 5 minutes walking distance from Tiannamen & the Forbidden City - the Legendale Beijing is by far the most luxurious hotel offering privacy and individual attentive 5 star service. The location is in the heart of Beijing's luxury shops adjacent to all the major brand names and next to all major hotel chains such as the Regent, Peninsula hotel... More
