I have used this Hotel many times since 2004, and this will be my last time. Recently used this Hotel over 2 different nights and the results were the same. Unfriendly, poorly maintained and a bit old. The staff either did not speak English or did not want to. We seemed to be more of a problem than anything else.... More

City Line Booked a standard room on Agoda for about US$45 a night (including service charge and hotel tax). The hotel had been known for many years until recently as Harmony Hotel (or Hua Mei Lun in Chinese), so most taxi drivers may still be more familiar with the old name. Taxi from Beijing Capital International Airport to the hotel... More

let's put it this way, if you are just looking for a place to sleep then this should be okay. The location is central and 5 minute walk, you are already in the Metro Station of Beijing Zhan (Beijing Railway Station). There are some places to eat around there but nothing stands out. Head for Henderson Malls to stock up... More

Rooms have been nicely touched up with major update carpet or gone for floating floor. Restaurant is greatly improved. Price + location a BIG plus! Only drawback that keen & helpful front office staff have little English. If there is a problem ask for katy frp. Sales Deparment who was top Harmany Hotel front office sub manager who has definitely... More

HARMONY HOTEL – We stayed here at the start of an Intreid tour. Tired 3 star hotel but clean. Staff very good. Rooms as you would expect in China, not large with very firm beds, but in good location, right near Beijing train station. 5 min walk to Henderson mall with supermarket in basement. Plenty of places to eat in... More

I was very much disappointed to find out that the great *** Harmony Hotel in Beijing closed down on 30Jun2012. Then I was expecting it to re-open greater than even it was before. Moreover the location was ideally central to transport + much more. However after speaking with an ex senior staff member yesterday I now know it has gone... More

Hotel is basic, but clean and a reasonable price. Good for exploring the city - not far to forbidden city etc, close to railway station. Restaurants & shopping centres within 10-15 minutes walk, mini mart across the road. Had a great stay, usual Chinese firm but comfy beds. Chinese & western breakfast options. Definitely value for money & good location.... More

Free wi-fi, close to train station. About 140 Yuan in taxi from airport. Very basic, but suitable when on the move. Money exchange in hotel - bit of a grumpy women running it. Tour service available on second floor - very good.

Hotel is very basic, but clean and well maintained, reasonable priced with internet. Great for exploring the city, close to railway station and main Post office with some food stores and restaurants nearby, around 20-30 minutes walk to the Forbidden City and around 20 minutes to a huge modern shopping center. Hotel has a restaurant downstairs - tried only broccoli... More
