1st time in Beijing, impressed by the hotel, very good relocation, convenient to other place, good service especially the executive lounge at 24th floor, but little noisy in the room. But it's very difficult to get taxi.

The Renaissance is a 'lifestyle' brand under the Marriott group of hotels. Consequently, there is a more 'buddha bar' air to the hotels compared to a standard Marriott. The rooms are comfortable (though slightly fussy given the amount of reading material/literature in the room) and clean. Bathrooms are great (though I'm really tired of glass walls for bathrooms - especially... More

We came to Beijing as a family of 5 and stayed 8 nights. The breakfast buffet was good, but very expensive for the quality of food. The staff was fine but mostly just stood around smiling, no offers to assist and when asked the simplest of questions i.e. Where can I get a band aid for my daughter, they were... More

I have been staying at the Beijing Renaissance for at least a couple of years now. I travel to Beijing for my work on a weekly basis. The hotel is very nice asthetically and the staff is usually very responsive. One glaring problem is that the air conditioning is terrible. The rooms are frequently too hot and cannot be cooled... I stayed at this Renaissance hotel for two nights before moving to Beijing Marriott City Wall Hotel. The room, interieur and make up of the hotel is truely Renaissance style. However the service is not. Most of the (Chineses) Front Desk clerks didn't really understand English that well. Luckily there was a Spanish Navigator who could help me out. When... More

The staffs are wonderful especially the ones from the executive lounge; they are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet is the best in town and the restaurant Fat Duck has the best Peking duck in Beijing.

Rooms are modern and bathrooms are all glass (there are blinds that can be closed for privacy). Gym and pool are great and there is a locker room with sauna, steam room, and lockable lockers. Its close to a mall, but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot in walking distance there. It is central so you can cab... More

Not much to so, just a great marriott hotel with good standard and nice executive lounge staff, good food and near the underground station. Basically good service that you would expect from a marriott brand. Many shopping malls nearby. Staff very helpful and clean rooms.
