The hotel is well located near business district and also to the convention center. The rooms (apartments) are big and well equipped with kitchen and dinning room. It's a little difficult to get a taxi in the area so plan ahead before heading out

That's a rating of 4. Spent the last month here. I agree with most others suggesting similar ratings. It's decent enough, and a bit if exploration will have you finding western supermarkets, Starbucks , German beer gardens, etc within walking distance (15-20 mins).

Oak Chateau is a managed service apartment building. This offers bigger rooms with sitting area, bedroom and kitchen. The quality of the rooms are good and I enjoy staying here when I am in Beijing for more than a couple of days. The only issue is the breakfast is not at a good standard no hotel food here. But for... More

I stayed here on my first and last nights in China. The hotel is in a business district and there are several places to eat nearby. I had an apartment for my first night and a suite on the second visit. Both were good. There is a small cafe in the hotel which is good, if the menu is rather... More

This place definitely needs to improve on Customer Service, courtesy & visibility. I found the staff impatient and restless whenever I had some questions (queries on finding a taxi, settling the bills etc). It would be much appreciated if the staff is more friendly & warm especially to foreigners who do not know the local language. In addition, it is... More

Okay location, close to 3rd Ring Road (East) and close to the subway system (I thought Sanyuanqiao was closer to Liangmaqiao inspite of what people said) that will get you around for just 2 yuan (one way). Good location good and decent quality street food (straight across the Lvy Bilingual Pre-School). Breakfast is okay, no great shakes. Value for money,... More

I stayed in Beijing for 3 days and Oak Chateau more than met my expectations. I had the least expensive type of unit (superior studio) and yet it was stylish, spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with all the conveniences including a refrigerator/freezer (not just a hotel mini-fridge with a useless freezer compartment inside) washing machine and so... More

From overall performance, I think oak chateau is one the best serviced-apartment in Beijing. It's very clean, the service is very good, great environment. It's suitable for both long-term or short-term living. The room was great. It has complete appliances, furniture and amenities. Internet is available for every room (not wireless) Breakfast is a mix between western (toast + bacon... More

I was told this is a oakwood chain, but when I got there, I was told that they have nothing to do with oakwood. The partnership has broken up for ages and they are still selling the hotel as oakwood apt. Feeling a bit cheated, I stayed in the hotel. Half way through, general maintenance of the local water pipes... More
