I stayed here a couple of times, and it was okay, however on the third try... "Sorry, but we gave away your room because your estimated time of arrival was five o'clock and it is now eight o'clock". Fortunately a nearby Holiday Inn had rooms (which were $25 less per night). My next trip to Beijing will not include a... More

The staff were helpful, there may have been some changes since the earlier reviewers comments. The room was spacious and comfortable but the bathroom and carpets looked a little tired. Thne room has it's own wifi and wired internet connections which is a nice touch and the power sockets on the desk take Chinese, European and British plugs which is... More

The hotel facade looks ok but once inside you realise that this is a far cry from a hotel with western standards. The staff at reception don't respect customers and are plainly not interested in assisting you. Upon check-in we asked what time breakfast is open until, and were told 11am. When we showed up the next morning around 10:30... More

The rooms are nice, with spacious rooms. The gym is decent, with 3 treadmills and a few machines. The Spa was closed for Chinese New Year.

Let's say that this hotel is on the way to become an international hotel... but will never be! So there are a few employees who can speak english (although having basic Chinese is a must to remain calm). The bed was large, internet (with wire) was working correctly, large room, well equiped gym and there was some international chanel on... More

Positives: -right next to a metro station!! -next to an opera house (not that I went for a show, but it was cool to see the people let out one night all high off the Chinese opera) -modern -located in a residential neighbourhood, so you get a feel of what Beijing living is like -some restaurants down the street, but... It should be illegal for this kind of hotel to accept non-mandarin speaking guests. Even though I am lucky enough to speak some mandarin, still horrible service. call for some room service, as soon as they hear that you are a foreigner, staff freaks out and runs away to find another colleague who may speak a little English, or just... The hotel itself is very good, clean and has friendly staff. However the biggest problem for me was commuting back to the hotel - taxis are not easy to find in Beijing (unlike Shanghai) and one will find it difficult to get back to the hotel especially in the night time. There is a metro line 20 yards away from... More

We stayed this hotel for 5 nights from 23rd August 2010. It's worst hotel I have stayed. Our rooms were been arranged at same floor with local guests. The dirty carpet with disgusting stain let you even don't want move your shoes off. The local guests past the room with loudly talking and laughing let you can't sleep. We stayed... More

We stayed here from 5 to 8 June 2010 in the Superior Twin Room. We had an excellent time in this wonderful hotel. Firstly, the hotel is located 1 minute walk away from the Che1 Gong1 Zhuang1 subway station which makes for excellent accessibility. It is also in Ring 2 which means it is rather close to the city centre.... More
