This hotel has a perfect location in the central part of the city. Its only about 500meters from the silkmarket were you can buy copys of everything. Dont pay over 20-30% of the startingprice. The hotel is very nice, high class, clean with good beds. I can really recomend this hotel, both for business and vacation. Close to 5 star... More

I this hotel on recommendation of my local colleagues. This is one of the oldest hotel in Beijing frequented by expats. However, while I did not face any specific major issue, the experience could best be called as average. The check in and check out was smooth but going to room involved a long walk for reaching the elevator, which... More

Hotel is a bit worn but absolutely a hotel my party of 3 were happy with. Bathtub in the room & minibar & safe. Comfortable bed. A doorman named Mr. Lee who has worked there for almost 30 yrs. is most helpful & fluent in English.

Although the hotel seams to be a bit old one, it still keeps the standard (what seldom happens in China). Nice rooms, well working WiFi, 100m from the subway station and 45min walk (or direct bus connection) to Tian An Men - is quite OK.

If you'd like to go to Pekin, this is one of the best locations. All is very close, malls, main attractions, and silk market. You could find two restaurants, french and chinesse food. People that attend in counter could learn english and be more kind...

Welcomed by doormen when arriving to the hotel, reception was professional. Front desk staff uniform looked smart. First impression for this hotel was very good. Room was big enough even placing two double beds. It had a huge window to view the main road of Beijing however you may see about 3 hundreds meters away from you due to pollution.... More

I stayed here for one night. The taxi driver new the location after showing him the name and location of the hotel In Chinese. It's not too far from the Subway station and other shopping areas, balthough I did not have time to go shopping. The check-in and checkout service was very efficient. My only criticism was the poor breakfast available... More

Recently stayed here for 6 nights as part of a package trip. Everything met and exceeded expectations. Location was great. Located in the CBD, the 1 line subway station is a 2 minute walk. From there you are 3 stops to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street (great for street food) and 4 stops to Tian'anmen Square and the Forbidden City. With a... More

This hotel is one of the more "old established" hotels in Beijing - most taxi drivers appear to know where it is. The decor and facilities is a bit dated, but everything works. The gym has good, new equipment, with free towels and water. The indoor swimming pool is a bit small and dated but still relatively well maintained and... More

My wife and I, along with my brother and his wife, stayed here for a week while on a group tour of Beijing. The facility is very clean and welcoming. Most of the staff were friendly, although the front desk staff had a more difficult time smiling. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel amenities were much appreciated. The minibar,... More
