We stayed here for one night after a trip to Pingyao. The Hostel is very clean and combined with a nice restaurant. Lots of possibilities to chill, even on the roof terrace. For a youth hostel it is a little overpriced though.

gotta love a snobby Beijinger. glorified version of a youth hostel. $80.00 usd per double? wow, for china that is way high. High end district, over priced restaurants surround the neighborhood. the room had a smell of the sewers, stunk for 2 days straight, and you love a place that advises against flushing the toilet paper down the toilet. put... This hostel is in a great location and the hostel itself is beautiful with fresh flowers everywhere. We stayed in a private room which was just fine, and the bathrooms were surprisingly very clean which was nice. I'm not sure how the dorms or shared bathrooms are. I really enjoyed this place.

My family stayed here for two nights in one of the family rooms, which was basically two rooms, each with a double bed. Easily spacious enough for a family of five. The hostel itself is smothered with flowers which must cost the owner a fortune! It is walking distance from the Forbidden City (our 5 year old managed it) and... More

During my stay in Beijing I stayed in both the Peking yard hostel and for my final night this, the Peking international hostel, which is the sister of Peking yard. It's in a great location, right in the centre of a busy street, full of little touristy shops to wander round and lots of food options. Also close to the... More

We stayed in the Peking International Youth Hostel for five days in January 2013. The hostel was located in a beautiful alleyway (foods, snacks and shops); a busy alleyway even until late at night. The cafe was super pretty, though foods and drinks are overpriced. The receptionist are very friendly and helpful. I've seen complaints about the place is too... More

We stayed at the Peking International Youth Hostel for five days in November, 2012 in a private/double room. This was our first time there, our first time in Beijing, and our first time in China. Long story short, I recommend the Peking Youth Hostel and would stay there again. Here are some things to consider if you are thinking about... More

It was the last days of our trip so just booked a hostel with good reviews. The hostel has a nice location, but the metro station is too far away, so you should take the bus (Take bus No.623 from west railway station to Luo Gu Xiang (about 1 hr, 1 rmb), cross the road, walk straight for 200 meters,... The hotel, the staff snd especially the lobby are super nice, but the prices for a double (450) is too high.. The dorms are 120.. Right next to it is a backpackers for dorms for 75... Sleep there and have coffee here:)

This hostel is an excellent choice to stay in Beijing. Although it goes a little over a backpacker's budget (but Beijing and as a whole does), the money is worthwhile and the location is great. The room I stayed in and the bathrooms were spotless and cleaned everyday (I stayed for 5 nights). Food is good, althought you will get... More
