I really liked the fit out and facilities at this place. It's quite modern (rare in the area), has lots of light and a bookshelf with lots to read. Theres a rooftop terrace where you can sit. It's located in the touristy Hutong area, but if you take yourself 5 mins from the main drag, it becomes quite a local... More

This hotel is located in the heart of the old Beijing and just minutes of walk from the subway station. A perfect base camp for me to explore the city's bounty. The hotel was apparently a retrofited over a traditional chinese house. The design and decor were quite pleasing. I had booked the smallest room but it was pretty decent.... More

Our friends recommend this hotel to us, and it was excellent! We booked from the official website and they send us a email to show the driver and we find the hotel easily. We arrived at mid night and were welcomed with a nice tea and fruits in the room. The staff are excellent, they serve very good breakfast and... More

The streets and hutongs surrounding the hotel are incredibly lively and pleasant. A great choice to explore the areas of the lakes. It was not easy to find the hostel at first though in the maze of hutongs. The staff was absolutely charming and made us feel at home. The tea was very good, and the tea courses that were... More

The location is great - in the middle of the fancy hutongs. But be prepared to walk a few meters with you suitcases, the taxi cannot drive in front of the hotel. The straff is extremely friendly, the rooms are clean and nice. We booked the most expensive room (Supreme Double Room) with "garden view" - which is actually not... More

We stayed here in early spring 2014 and had booked the tatami-style room "Birdsong". Event though we only had a small window to the "Living room" of the Hotel and the room was barely large enough fort us and our luggage, we relly enjoyed our stay. The hutongs are filled with life and the hotel is an oasis to find... More

I always like Nan Luo Gu Xiang when I first visit it in 2007, often fancy to stay in a Hutong. Given the improved situation of the neighborhood and many renovation of the old hutong, staying here “ Hutongren Courtyard hotel” gave me the most enjoyable experience ever. B&B here keeps the original form of the house, but with modernized... More

We arrived in Beijing from Shanghai by train and from the main station took about 1.5 hours to reach our hotel... Beijing traffic is terrible... But once we arrived at the courtyard hotel we were pleasantly surprised by the coziness of this location. This small boutique hotel is tucked away in a back ally hidden among a river of buildings....
