Chosen by host company (PICC) whose offices conveniently close. 35 minutes of airport - beware taxi scam of not starting meter and charging more than 70rmb. Good sized room and ensuite. Noise levels from building works on roof of hotel during day were high. 4 stops on easy to use subway (English signs, ticket machines and announcements) from Tianamen/Forbidden City... More

Stayed at Jinglun Hotel for one night. The hotel was located near the CBD where the metro is easily accessible on foot within a 5-minute walk. The room was clean and spacious, yet the bath looks a bit tired. Free wi-fi was available ensuite and also the common areas. Breakfast was OK with quite a wide variety. Great deal for... More

We stayed there as part of a tour package in April 2012. The outside is looking a little bit worn and definitely needs some updating. Inside the rooms are in fairly decent shape, however, the bathrooms need updating. The breakfast buffet that they offer is a mixture of Chinese and Western and is good. The staff was helpful to us... This hotel is an ok hotel for beijing. If staying in area, I would suggest staying at New world hotel down the road. The rooms are ok. Lobby is nice. Staff is ok. Location is good. Walking distance to silk Alley Mall. Close to sub way. 4 Km to forbidden city. More

The Jinglun was recommended by the exhibition organiser as the exhibition centre was 5 minutes from the hotel. The hotel is very tired and has no atmosphere. The staff are not friendly and quite unhelpful. The room temperature was centrally controlled at 25 degrees. When I asked if the temperature could be reduced I was told to open the window which I... The hotel look pretty disgusting from the outside and there is a horrible smell that can surprise you at first when you enter the reception (kind of a chemical product smell), most of the employes don't speak english and the bathtub looked pretty gross. I got some clothes stolen from my suitcase by the cleaning staff (between day 2 and... More

My visa was held up, so I ended up booking this hotel at the last minute. Some things to recommend it: The CBD location was as central as things get in Bejing. I was close to many meetings, and the subway was five minutes' walk. It also wasn't far to walk to the international/embassy district, where I met a number... More

I booked because of the low price. I spent part of my trip here and checked out midway to find better accommodations at a slightly higher price. The Junglun is quite a bit outdated. The room I was in had a few issues: moldy bathroom (most every caulk seam in the bathroom was moldy), inconsistent guest towels (many of the... More

I spent a 7 nights for business and found the location to be very central for my needs. Location to attractions like the silk market, tieneman square and forbidden city made it easy to fit in multiple trips to each. Business level had English speakers and accommodating staff. Rooms are nice size and amenities. Down side is the hvac system.... More

The hotel is close to the business district and in walking distance to the Silk Market and big shopping malls like the Plaza. Also close to the underground. In the morning or when it is raining it can be a bit difficult to get a cab and I could not make reservation for the next morning. Try to get a... More
