We had originally booked and paid 4 night at this hotel. However after one night of sleep in a smelly hotelroom - waking up feeling as I have been smoking all night - we checked out and moved to a better hotel. The duvetcover had holes in it. Nikko Jinglun is centrally located close to the SilkMarket, but that is... More

Old hotel which seems never to have been renovated. The rooms are not attractive as they are old and all is dark brown inside. Not all the staff speaks English and for the one who did, they have a very bad level. So it's very difficult to communicate and to be understood. They have no sense of service. For example... More

This was an excellent hotel if you needed to be in Beijing for business more so than for English speaking travelers. Most of the workers, including front desk, did not speak English. Granted, it is China and I tried to utter some broken Mandarin, but it is always nice when little things like local maps and subway maps are in... More

My own opinion: UPSIDE (1) close to the famous Silk Market and safe to walk (2) breakfast choice is ok (3) staffs are awesome (4) various tee shops along the way and Starbuck nearby DOWNSIDE (1) carpet in the room seems old and (2) lobby is too small

Though the location is nice: close to subway and the Forbidden city, silk market and walking streets, - there is nothing special or fancy about the hotel itself. The staff working the floors and room service are diligent, responsive, courteous... Can't say the same about the front desk. And beware of possible fraud when exchanging your currency... Check every note,... More

The hotel was good for stay. The concierge was good but not the helpful kind you would expect...for Indians traveling, there is an indian restaurant walking distance from the hotel...otherwise nothing great but not bad..this review is based on my trip few years back

It was a decent hotel in a decent location- very close to the silk market and restaurants, a bit farther to other shopping. It's a decent trip to the major sites. The room was OK, but could use a little maintenance- peeling paint in a few places, a little mold in the bathroom, older furnishings. The bed was nice, but... More

This is my second visit at this hotel, good breakfast, good service, very close to the silk market. It's the best cloth market with tasty food court. Recommendation is to ask none smoking floor. Check the weather before arriving to beiging

This hotel is in dire need of an update. The carpet in my room was so stained that I couldn't bear to walk on it without shoes on. The bathrooms are small and old; the walls scarred and stained. The breakfst buffet was very low quality. My first room was facing the main street (south) and was so hot and... More
