The Jinglun hotel has a great position in Beijing BUT.....its a dive to be polite. Dirty...mouldy...stinks of smoke. Would advise you not to stay there if you are looking for clean and modern accommodation. Its well past its sell by date!!!!

The only positive aspect is the good location. However, there are much better hotels in the area. Check-in was professional but when you look at the hotel from outside and the lobby you already now that you don't have to expect a lot. The room is old and needs a cleaning and best a renovation. There is an unpleasant smell... More

Wonderful location..... close of business area, good restaurants, silk market and several other tourist places... traffic gets bad at peak hours...but still a location of my choice!! Carpets in the corridor smell... rooms are maintained well and are clean but still feel dated. Did not dine in but the breakfast spread was reasonably good. Staff is courteous but act stiff.... I've stayed at this hotel regularly for many years and it has slowly deteriorated. This time it's worse than ever, the rooms are shabby and out of date, and the service poor. Given the growth of new hotels in Beijing I would definitely not recommend it, there are much better options.

The Hotel is a quite good hotel, the staff is very professional, fast and reliable, the room are king size, fully equipped. I was staying the old sie of the hotel which is actually under rennnovation. The bathroom is clean but very old... as well as all the rest! Beside that location is perfect to work in Beijing down town... More

Room had king bed, desk, seating area, computer/tv, refrigerator and large bathroom for 700 RMB per night. Decor is not the latest, but not geared towards local consumers either. Location is great. It is in the Guomao area. China World Trade is a block to the east. Silk market is a block to the west. Short walk to restaurants, western... More

This still feels like an old communist 'friendship' hotel, including the Aeroflot air crews, mediocre breakfast and the sentiment every room is wire-tapped. My "non-smoking" room was still full of smoke when checking in. After asking to change rooms I was given another "non-smoking" room that had the smell of stale cigarette smoke, so I was offered an electronic air... More
