Hotel is what you expect: modern, large rooms, comfy beds, nice bathroom (wooden bathtub and sinks), complimentary cute toilet case, good toiletry, floor-to-celling glass windows, large tv and sound system, all inclusive minibar, friendly and helpful staff and located in the heart of a luxury shopping center. The negative side is you need to afford it. I have been to... More

The soundproofing of this hotel is very poor despite I stay at the top floor. One night there were some crowds watching World Cup final match outside the hotel (probably in a pub or somewhere), my sleep was disturbed by their loud screaming and yell. Besides, the hotel staff seems not to be knowledgable enough as they don't know the... More

We stayed in the opposite house a few nights. It is a very good hotel and the rooms are specious and comfortable. The area is great and near the hotel there is an upmarket area with some great places to eat and shop (although the luxury tax in mainland China is 30% so you can get the same items cheaper... More

This is a gorgeous hotel aesthetically with a beautifully curated art space and really interesting interior - but it also lives up to the look and feel with wonderful knowledgable staff and great food and beverage options. I am only sorry my stay was so short - I will definitely return - it was my favourite hotel on a whirlwind... More

Great, clean, spacious and ever so relaxing, and best of all, truly quiet at night. I can see why this place is a new hotspot in Bejing. Close to shopping malls, lots of Bars and restaurants around, and being a female traveller, nice spas nearby as well.

We like the Upper House so much (a sister property in Hong Kong), that we decided to try this the Beijing outpost. I'm so glad we did. The hotel is perfectly located, great decor, impressive contemporary art exhibits, attentive and knowledgeable staff that made great suggestions of places to eat, things to experience and even walk with us for about... The hotel is located in nice area of shops and restaurants, traffic is a big deal in this city so it is nice to have good restaurants within walking distance. The staff of the reception is always eager to help and give good suggestions. The room we had was big, the decoration was amazing. The hotel also has great restaurants,... More

An oasis of calm and tranquility in busy Beijing. Located in a fashionable part of town, the hotel is modern, clean and extremely comfortable and spacious. Rooms are minimalist and airy with great beds and a beautiful traditional wooden bath with separate shower. The restaurant serves great breakfasts including English specialities for those who are a trifle homesick. Try Transit... More

My family stayed here during a recent trip to Beijing and we had a wonderful time from the minute we arrived. The service from the outset was impeccable: from walking through the enormous wooden double doors and checking-in in the huge atrium lobby, all the way through to fond farewells with the staff at the end of our stay, we...
