Opposite House is located right in the middle of Sanlitun Village - a cool urban district that has lots of international fashion brands & bars that cater for western travellers. Beijing is a large city where everything is really spread out as most of the places are concentrated on one street, so Opposite House is pretty convenient if you are... More

This place is more then a hotel, it's a sensory experience. The cool art, the lighting, the textures of wood and fabrics. The cafe and restaurant downstairs are excellent. Of all the hotels I stayed in China, I found the staff the most helpful. Make sure you have a swim in the pool, it's unworldly.

The Opposite House has become my favorite place to stay in Beijing. I‘ve visited it regularly over the last years, so this review is not just based on a single stay. The hotel is excellently located within easy walking distance from good restaurants an shopping. Design and decor is cool, light and modern. It‘s a luxury hotel with the amenities... More

Have stayed now several times. Each time great staff, wonderful space with minimal look and feel. I'm treated as family and that is very nice. Love the choice at breakfast. Only down side this past visit was the disco next door...I regretted the beautiful upgraded room to the back when the music boomed at 0200 through the windows. Still...a great... More

The Opposite House is great location among a nightlife and restaurant area, area, close to business district for meetings and that night life. The staff are beyond perfect, from the Concierge to breakfast waiters, and everyone in between. Restaurants are top class. Concierge booked us into clubs, booked a perfect tailor (Hannah). I had to print presentations ... front desk... More

While my colleagues have their business hotel of choice, the O H is mine ' home' in beijing. Sincere, professional, helpful, non oozy service from the minute you step out of the taxi till you get back in after check out. Flawless! Love the changing art space. The OH has successfully bridge the Easy and the West in many aspects.... More

We tried to eat at the Italian restaurant but this restaurant is closed every Saturday lunch which was a disappointment so we tried the all day dining restaurant at the lobby. We were not expecting anything great but we were WoWed by the experience. The restaurant manager Alvin was really helpful & my friend had a headache & we wanted... More

The hotel was excellent and I stayed based on the review by CNN as the top Hotel in Beijing but the very 1st day I was shocked to see one of the drawer in my room. There were empty plastic bags and paper bags and other packaging tags and rubbish papers of women lingerie in my room drawer. The simple... More

great hotel, lovely staff, spacious common areas and a great bar. The rooms are big, with all mod cons and good comms. The gym/spa/swimming pool is fantastic and hardly used when I was there Would really recommend this place as a haven from the traffic and noise!
