Opposite House Beijing - Sanlitun district of Beijing, China. What’s in a name? Think of something, like say an international five star hotel, and then your mind may well conjure up images of formal lobby’s, brocade curtains perhaps even, heaven forbid, guilt ormolu. Along with stuffy service staff with starched uniforms….now stick with that thought and then consider the complete... More

I have been fortunate to stay at the Opposite House several times over the past three years and every stay has been fantastic. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, while the hotel is stylish, comfortable and uber-cool without feeling cold or like it's trying to hard. Some of the nice touches include the complimentary mini-bar, in-room amenities and free... More

The hotel is unlike any other I have visited. It is very hip and cool. The service is over the top great. The design and feel are amazingly open and cool. Now I love carpets, but the fine wood in the rooms is a treat. No charge for the room bar was a very nice touch. The wi fi worked... More

A friend of mine recommended that I stay here if I visit Beijing. The Hotel lived up to expectations...the room was spacious and the wooden bathtub was a nice feature. The staff were extremely helpful and the surrounding area was buzzing with life. The Chinese restaurant on the lower ground was superb!

I highly recommend this place, especially for people visiting Beijing. I only met friends for drinks but I would love to stay here. Service and atmosphere were superb! Very trendy modern hotel with great drinks and fantastic late night food. The lobby bar is a must to meet for drinks with friends. Stunning modern decor. Staff were all very friendly... More

I stayed here for a few days with my boyfriend. We actually ended up extending our stay, because we just really didn't want to leave - and I usually hate fancy hotels. Definitely didn't hate the Opposite House. Prepare for your subsequent hotel experiences to feel lame and boring. No claustrophobic hallways or brocade drapes here. The Opposite House has... More

Everything is right about this hotel, from the design, lighting, interiors, unique style of service, completely eliminating the traditional stuffy hotel feel. The decor is ultra sleek, from the massive rooms, the wooden bath tub, wooden hand basins, open rain shower with wood flooring, the toilet behind a sliding wall, iPad connecting you to hotel services centre. I could not... More

I've been to this hotel a few times already. But didn't find the time to write the reviews till now. First of all, the location of this hotel is the hot and trend spot in Beijing, so made everything much easier. Foods, shops and culture. Page one (the book store) is next door. The room and the design was my... More

I stay here most of the times I come to Beijing. It's conveniently located in SanLiTun village, a very nice shopping area with both high end shopping, fine dining, easy access to local markets and a taste of the "old" china. The rooms are very inviting and its a pleasure to stay there, the staff is always paying attention to... More
