This hotel is built into a traditional hutong courtyard house and is very atmospheric for it. The room was extremely comfortable and warm with heated floors. The bathroom was modern but had some traditional touches. The breakfast was a mix between (sort of) Western and Asian and there was always something appetising to eat. We enjoyed our stay here very... More

We stayed here for four nights at the start of a holiday in China. The hotel provides a nice window into the courtyard style life in hutongs. The accommodation here is not for everyone, and it's worth knowing what to expect to decide if this is for you. We would return so it suited us. The main positive for us... More

Located in/along a bustling 'hutong' in central Beijing, this hotel is solitude after a busy day. You a steps away from a shopping promenade of typical, small Chinese shops and only a short walk from a main street, teeming with more/larger stores and restaurants. Walking distance to theatres, museums and a central lake area for locals and tourists alike. The... More

This is a beautiful hotel, in a very authentic district of town. I loved just about everything about this hotel. Breakfast was great. It was convenient to the subway. The only problem was the plumbing. Our shower's drain did not work. Thus, the entire bathroom would flood anytime one of us took a shower. Our friend's reported a distinct, bad... More

This well located hotel has great if small rooms, good breakfast, (westen and Asian) nice amenities and staff who are both friendly and helpful. The authentic converted hutong just adds the experience.

Breathe in the history of this building and its courtyards. It has not been over-renovated like so many other historical sights in China. I like the old charme, rooms are small but o.k. With the best location I could imagine for Beijing. Quite and in the middle of the intact Hutongs.

Nice, cosy place in a Hutong area, very charming. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and charming. The hotel is very good located, central and close to the must see's in Bejing. An oasis of calm and quietness in a very lifely Hutong.

Courtyard 7's hutong location is fantastic. Direct access to many good options for food, drinks and late-night hangouts, and lots of little character-filled shops. It's great that the hotel itself is tucked away and quiet, yet so close to so much activity. The train station is a 10 minute walk away. Many other interesting neighbourhoods are close by, as are... Arriving in the busy street next to Courtyard 7, trying to find the accommodation , i expected it would be very noisy. Quite the opposite , what a beautiful courtyard and an amazing location. It definitely gives you the feeling of staying in an old traditional Chinese courtyard.I also had a bit of a cold so was very thankful that there... We stayed here at the end of our trip because they were fully booked when we arrived in Beijing. This is a 300 year old historic property. Dignitaries have stayed here. The room is small, but charming and the breakfast is great. Walking distance to the Metro, but a lot going on up the street. Our room was very quiet... More
