Our group stayed in 2 rooms the first night and the smell of the room was awful. It smelled like sewer and smoke. Moreover, the neighboring room was so noisy. The next 5 days, we stayed in another room good for 3 people which was reserved prior to our arrival. The lights were not sufficient for reading, the bathroom fixtures... More

First of all they even do not try to pretend that they care about customers - we were waiting ages to check in and if not the fact that we have already paid, for sure I would prefer to go and find another hotel. We were given a twin room next to the reception (although we booked a double room,... More

well it's noisy to say the least. Only stayed here 3 nights as it is in a good area for the forbidden city tiennamen sq etc. The beds were like concrete, the bathroom flooded after each shower, and I wanted to "kill" the inconsiderate staff who never shut up at night, not even talking in hushed voices either! Hotel rooms... More

Arriving to this hotel around 2:30AM after a long flight, we seemed to disrupt the staff from sleeping which was awkward. Our room was clean enough and the hotel was close enough to everything, which was great. We had a room on the bottom floor, with a window that seemed to look out to the apartment building beside the hotel,... More

Our room was located on the ground floor, right next to the reception (as most of their duble bed rooms are) and had no window. Since there was no sound proofing what so ever between the door and the corridor it sounded like people were standing in our room (though they were standing in the corridor). The room was extremely... More

The issues start with this place the second you walk in- 1) reception is the least friendly we've endured yet in our WORLD tour! That's saying a lot, we've been at over 30 +hotels so far! 2) All the rooms are smoked in regardless of what they say. We moved 3 x's and finally gave up because they all smelt... More

The rooms are average, very small for two single beds. The bathroom are not very tidy, but livable. There is a TV but no fridge in the room. Major plus: very convenient to travel from the hotel to the attractions Major minus: the staff don't speak a single word of english Everything else is managable. Good alternative for a hostel... What do you expect when you pay a cheap hotel? Well... this. If you are looking for best value for the money you pay, this is not the case. You get the exact quality you pay, and this means, little. The rooms all smelled moist, we were 10 people and rented 5 rooms and they all smelled. The restaurant is... More

the receptionists are super rude and do not speak english. they accused us checking out when we just checked in, then accused us of not paying for our 3 night stay when we had. the room is actually pretty clean however and there is internet in the rooms from an ethernet cable, but the connection is unsteady. by the way,... The good news: VERY cheap, nice neighborhood, about a 30 minute walk from The Forbidden City and a 20 minute walk from Wangfujing Avenue. Very clean, nice rooms, bathroom. Popular restaurant on the corner, crêpe stand next door, KFC across the street, wonderful pastry shop about half a block away. The so-so news: staff is friendly and helpful IF you... More
