My son and I spent 4 days at the Gotel Capital earlier this month and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. It was most conveniently located just close to the LG Twin Towers close to the heart of Beijing and interesting sites. The rooms were lovely, nicely decorated with a swiss feeling including all amenities needed. It was quite... More

The hotel is clean and modern. If you are on a tour on your own, this is recommendable being close to the train station (just right in front of the hotel is the Yongan Li station). You can take Line 1 to go to Imperial Palace, Tiananmen Square. Also 2 stations away from this hotel through Line 1 is Wangfujing... More

This hotel has quirky decor and modern and comfortable rooms. There is a pleasant bar / restaurant area, and nice garden with outside seating. The staff speak limited English and are very friendly and helpful. There is good wifi in the rooms but limited international TV channels (BBC, Bloomberg). Breakfast is OK, and there is no fridge / mini bar... More

Goods: Cheap rooms with comfortable sleeping Very good location - Near the commercial centre & shopping destination Bads: Language an issue with the staff. You may end up spending 10mins just explaining about a wake up alarm Not very organised hotel The hotel is more desirable for business travel than leisure. If you plan to stay out for meeting the... I stayed here for a business trip a week ago. I was very pleasantly surprised. The rooms were excellent as was the lobby, restaurant and bar. The small outside area at the back is also a welcome addition. Located literally behind the LG Twin Towers, it is just a few minutes to Silk Street, about an hour's walk to Tiennaman... More

While the staff were polite, English is a major challenge at this property as it appears to be focussed on servicing the local Chinese business traveller rather than international visitors. Cleaning is a major problem (there was toenail under the desk for the duration of my stay and a rather large cockroach in my room which makes me wonder about... More

Disorganization and outrageous I have booked this hotel through booking.com, arriving at the hotel they could not find my booking, finally they seemed to have found it and told a price higher than what i have booked. I have showed my confirmation and asked to copy my confirmation sheet, after that the man who would have made the copy disappeared...... More

My travel agent recommended this hotel when nearby hotels have been fully booked for some government conferences. It wasn’t easy to find this place, taxi driver from airport didn't have a clue, I had to ring the hotel receptionist then she talked to the driver then finally arrived. It was funny to see 2008 Olympic mascot still there. In general,... More

I have returned to Gotel on several occasions and would recommend it to anyone who is keen to visit Beijing independently. Walking distance to subway, and wonderful local food close by. As well as this, the Silk Markets are just a cross the road .. Underpass makes access easy! Starbucks across access road. While I would suggest this hotel is... More

Good hotel in the CBD area. In addition to the competitive rates, the position is the main asset of this hotel: right behind the LG Towers and 200mt away from the Silk Market (and Yong An Line 1 Subway station). Within the same distance there are some of my favourite restaurants/bars in Beijing: Lan Club in the LG Towers and... More
