Cheap, clean, courteous, helpful, with free WiFi and a spacious 1st floor courtyard, breakfast included. Stayed here on a work trip and they did all we needed! Will no doubt be staying here next time I'm back in Mombasa for work

Cheap cosy place with friendly staff, wifi works but not that strong. Mind the price but don't expect much it was actually the cheapest place I found. Will do to spend few nights. That's it. Place gives some value for money. I need 200 symbols !

This hotel is more of a convenient place to sleep if you have business in the town, Next to most banks and its a walking distance. As for a holiday here forget about it. The hotel is next to the road so you are bound to wake up from the noise, was a great hotel in its time but as... More

The rooms are below average but value for money..... the best part is courteous and caring staff with the location..... its very near to fort jesus and opposite to ram mandir (hindu temple)................ even other places like famous restaurants and commercial establishments in down town are very much accessible through tuk tuk... (auto riksha)..

I stayed here for two days and the rooms are very nice with a free wifi internet. Staffs are very nice, friendly and kind. the room had a very nice mosquito net and the AC worked very nice, I loved it. Very conveniently located within the town center and near the old town and Fort Jesus. Will come again and... More

I have just spent the past 5 nights at the New Palm Tree Hotel. I was here for a teacher workshop. The other hotels suggested were in the same area but much more expensive. I found the New Palm Tree Hotel to be a good, budget hotel for someone basically just needing a clean place to sleep. I found the... More

The staff is what sold us on the hotel, even if the rooms were a bit dirty and in need of maintenance. The price was good for Kenya and Mombasa, especially the location if you need to catch an early bus. This hotel could be a charmer!

Stayed here for 2 nights while stopping over in Mombasa. In a nice location close to Fort Jesus, and the interesting art and craft streets of the town. Be warned it looks nothing like photos on their website, they must have been taken about 15 years ago. However, it feels secure, its comfy enough, quite a good price, and their... More

The hotel has a great courtyard on the first floor where you can spend your time with a book and a drink. The location is amazing although it can get pretty lonely at night. The complimentary breakfast is good until you spot the cockroaches! The room was not clean, the floor has a layer of dust permanently attached to it.... More

The hotel is clean and quite comfortable. There is AC in the room and free wifi in the hotel. The breakfast was simply but really good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It's really close to the old town and the fort Jesus. Good value for the price.
