The room was not good, the shower was old and rusty and the whole place reeked of pesticide, I guess from a recent fumigation. No shower caps provide din the bath room had to really improvise. The staff were friendly though.

I stayed in the hotel for three nights, it is located in the city center which is a central location and easy to find. There is a security check which is really comforting. The staff are great, the roof top was closed for renovation. The room had an A/C and a fan since Mombasa is hot. But despite the general... More

Regularly stay here when in Mombasa on business, whilst expensive it is very near to business district and there are many restaurants and bars within a short Tuk Tuk drive. I've found the staff indifferent on several occasions and the food over-priced for what you get. The rooftop dining area could be something quite special with some investment and imagination.

Hae gone to mombasa for a business meeting and felt it was convenient because of its location and proximity to the CBD...of mombasa...had a rooftop pool and restaurant and gym...food was okay though they converted the b/fast room to a church on sunday so was noisy as I was sleeping

Stayed at Royal Court in September 2013, due to it's proximity to Mombasa port. Food was ok, especially if looking for Indian cuisine. But rooms are run down, Water stopped in late night. Also rooms had a lot of cockroaches. Better avoid this hotel.

The Royal Court just plain annoyed me. I was based there over a two week period for work and yes, it has a roof top pool (which I never used), it has a gymnasium (which I never used). The rooms are clean. I know this because I had to change rooms because my shower wouldn't work. For some bizarre reason... More

Hotel generally is ok though located in the mid of the center, clean. But the staff are the worst you can ever come across in any world wide hotel. They seem to have no basic of customer care whatsoever nor curtesy, rude, not polite and behaves in i-don't-care style. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Besides overrated price... More

Popped in here yesterday afternoon to meet somebody - went up to 6th Floor Pool Bar and Restaurant. The view is excellent but that is the only good thing going for it. Ordered a tea and a coffee - tea was cold - coffee was lukewarm - this was after it took 25 (yes 25) minutes to arrive. Waitress was... More

I stayed at royal court in OCT 2012. This was my third trip at this hotel. The hotel is very well run. Not a beach hotel, but if you are in Mombasa to enjoy the town than this is the best play to stay. The restaurant is low price comparing to beach hotel but mid price compare to other town... More

This is not recommended for tourist visiting Mombasa for holidays on sea beach. But excellent hotel for visitors on business. Located close important business area of Mombasa. Rooms are OK - efficient , meets basic needs. Roof Top Restaurant gives excellent view at night. Indian foods excellent. But be prepared to shell out Ksh for internet connection at Hotel. Even...
