The Voagager is a quality hotel but not a five star luxury one. The welcome and the continuining friendliness of the staff is amazing. European and North American hotel executives should come here to learn how to provide effecient service with a smile. The grounds are lovely and like all aspects of the hotel kept spotless. I find the very... more

Me and my partner stayed in the voyager for 2weeks and did a 2night/3day safari in tsavo east/west with JTsafaris. The voyager, wow where do i start, from the moment we walked in we was treated like royalty, the service in this hotel can not be beaten. The waiters (especially shaddrack)and all the other staff are so helpful and friendly... more

we returned last week from a 2 week holiday at the Voyager after having a brilliant time. Our journey and arrival were comfortable, apart from the endless amounts of paperwork you have to complete at the airport, all asking the same questions but we were made to feel very welcome at the hotel. Our room was clean, tidy and had... more

Hotel - The Voyager Hotel was fantastic. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean, well organised, lovely food and variety . A lovely hotel to spend a week and half at (as we went on safari for 4 days at the beginning). I would recommend staying here to anyone. They do not deal much with cash on site,... more

We arrived at Voyager after a long time traveling from the UK with 23 of our family and friends. We travelled Premium Class and it was well worth the money. We were due to fly to Mexico for our wedding, but due to the swine flu, it was cancelled, so was very nervous about going to a completly different country.... more

I admit that we were initially nervous about staying at Voyager after it had received some recent bad reviews on TA. Most concerns were dispelled following swift and efficient communications with the Captain and Commander of the hotel. Any remaining concerns simply melted the moment we arrived! Check in was smooth despite the number of guests all checking in at... more

Half of the description of our 'superior sea-facing' room was accurate; it was sea-facing. The room was small, but clean and comfortable. The food is standard buffet fare but the service is not great, on several occasions we had finished our meals before our drinks arrived. The nautical theme is taken too far: the manager is referred to as the... more

This was our first trip to Kenya, in fact it was our first trip to the African Continent. We have always wanted to do a Safari...so we did it this year. First of all it depends on whom you book with to what you feel you're getting for you money. We travelled with First Choice and believe that we didn't... more
