I had the privilege of visiting Tipilikwani Masai Mara Camp recently and would not hesitate recommending it. The tents are so spacious; I actually thought they had allocated me the next room category by mistake....only to be informed that it was the standard twin tent. Kudos!!! This was such a plus, especially having visited many other properties Mara which had... More

In February 2015, my niece and I visited the Masai Mara and stayed at Tipilikwani. The hardest part of the trip was pronouncing the name of the camp. We were greeted warmly by the staff with fresh juice, and the food throughout our three days was a highlight. Our guide, Dee, was exceptional. He knows the Mara and he found... More

We had a 3 night stay here in February, and absolutely loved it! Less than 15 minutes in from the airstrip, we came upon our first lion.......and that pretty much set the scene for the rest of our stay! Our guide, Francis, was simply wonderful.......intuitive, sensitive to the animals and their environment, I can't rate him highly enough! I am... More

Set just outside of the Mara this is an isolated and therefore somewhat uncomfortable camp to reach , that said nowhere on the Mara is easy to get to !! The Camp , at this time of year , is a wee bit "sad" , there is no staff around for most of the day and there is a distinct... More

We drove down from Nairobi to stay 3 nights as a post wedding celebration in Tipilikwani. Our party was a large group (24) leaving on Christmas morning to travel back to Nairobi. We used Twiga tours to drive us down and as safari guides. Excellent company, but that will be another review. On arrival we were greeted with cold drinks... More

We stayed at Tipilikwani for 2 nights and had a wonderful stay. What better way to start your day with a sight of 6 lions just across you when enjoying their delicious breakfast. Cant go wrong with their luxury Tents in the wild, Delicious food by their chef and welcoming staff.. Definitely a place to visit...

Kew thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay. The tents were very comfortable and as per usual the Kenyan staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The food was very good. The layout of the resort was also very good and the bar and dining areas are also well located and comfortable. I am glad we spent 3 days here as... More

Arrived by flight and were picked up by the lodge car. Lodge toooooo far from the air strip. Took us almost an hour and half to get there. It was a rough ride. First impression of the lodge - received well at the reception and shown to our tents which are nice sized and looked impressive . But during the... More

Currently staying here. 2 nights down, 1 night to go. Came in with my wife on a flying package from Nairobi. To get to the lodge, you pass through a town called Talek from the airstrip. We were picked up at the airstip by a sincere gentleman by the name Dee. Who was our guide and driver. The lodge is... More
