We really enjoyed our recent stay at Little Govenors' Camp. Safaris were excellent and we loved our balloon experience. The camp was very comfortable, with excellent food and service. The waterhole was a real highlight, especially when the elephants visited the camp. We would certainly recommend this location in the Masai Mara.

This is the real deal. From the short ride on a boat pulled by a rope to the warthogs roaming the camp. The staff are very friendly and our driver/guide (Joseph) was excellent. The option to take a picnic breakfast so as to extend the early morning drive is worth doing. The lunch choice was good but dinner choice is... More

Incredible camp - beautiful tents surrounded by hippos, elephants and leopards at night. Stellar security to ensure that you feel protected at all times while still feeling right in the thick of things. Tasty and filling meals throughout a perfectly paced day. Our guide located lions, elephants, rhinos...we were simultaneously fully stimulated here yet always relaxed and loved the small... More

An outstanding experience; open plains, wild animals, game drives with sightings of the Big 5, outdoor picnics by the river, a Masai village cultural experience, added to a truly beautiful setting. A special mention for the balloon safari, which topped all expectations.

My second time there and both times were excellent! The camp is set around a lagoon with resident hippos and other visiting wildlife. It is such a serene place too. There was a herd of zebra standing near our tent when we arrived and the warthog family are always present. Last time "Blossom", the elephant, walked through camp. Staff always... More

Fantastic camp, amazing staff, beautiful balloon safari, superb location.....we had a wonderful 2 night stay at Little Governors, on the first game drive within 15 minutes we saw a leopard!! The location ensures a full on safari experience with the best game viewing...we even saw the wildebeest crossing twice. Unfortunately Governors Aviation should not be trusted. We waited at the... Twelve years ago my family and friends went to Little Govenor's Camp for our first safari. It was an incredible experience and so when I was scheduled to be in Kenya for business, I arranged to go back to Little Govenor's Camp. It is rare when a great experience can be made even better. My daughter and I had an... More

We spent 3 nights here at the start of our honeymoon and we had a fantastic time. From the moment we arrived we were blown away. We spent our first lunch watching a herd of elephants playing around in the watering hole, which is also filled with hippos. Then we went back to our tent and saw the herd walk... More

The safaris, the thrill of watching wild life in all its beauty, the ambience of the camp, the great Maasai Mara plains combined with excellent staff and service at Little Governors made this an unforgettable experience. We will return to Little Governors. Rajesh & Pia
