This is truly a wonderful place to stay. The unfenced location on a lagoon means you are literally among the animals even when not out on the game drives. We took picnic breakfast each morning so we could stay out from 6.30 to 12.30 and we saw some wonderful animals and various wildlife situations. Our timing meant there are huge... More

We had such a great stay at Little Governors last week! We were staying in tent 17 & it was constantly surrounded by elephants, zebra etc. All the staff are really friendly - shout out to Stanley! The security guys are also really good and they pointed out buffalo &other animals as they escorted us back to our tent at... More

Generally had an absolutely great time here. This was mainly attributable to the location of the camp, being along the Mara river and right next to the Musiara marsh. With elephants, warthogs, waterbucks, buffaloes, bushbucks and a great number of diverse bird life right outside your tent cooling off in the marsh, gives Little Governor's camp a charm that cannot... We had a life changing safari while staying at LGC! We saw the big 5 but really so much more. Like a river crossing, lions with their kill, hyenas kill a wildebeest and so much more. Robert was our guide and was excellent. All the staff was on point and made us feel welcome and at home. There was a... More

Camp right in the middle of the savannah. Hippos feeding close to the tent in night time. Restaurant 10 metres from the mara river. Game drive straight out of the gate. Friendly and welcoming staff. Two baboons sneaking up on me as i was reading outside the tent. Incredible experience.

3 nights spent at Little Governors' (tented) Camp in the mara and what an amazing stay it was! Remote, intimate and teeming with wildlife it was an escape like never before. The facilities, staff and safari experience were all top notch and the early morning balloon safari with breakfast out in the bush was superb. Kenya has much to offer... More

We stayed for three days at Little Governors camp in the Masai Mara Preserve. It was truly everything one could think or dream about for a safari. The experience of flying in from Wilson airport in Nairobi, being greeted by our driver Jackson, to the final goodbyes - all was beyond expectations. The flight was about 45 minutes, and we... More

Intimate, close to the animals, safari sightings begin within 5 minutes of getting into the land rover. Collins our driver is beyond excellent. You know you are on a good safari when even your drivers face shows amazement and even he must take a photo. We saw a baby zebra being born, Family of 8 elephants literally parade in front... More
