We went to this camp as a last step of a 8 days safari. If you like the wildlife this place is a must. Camp is formed by ten tents and a common area for dining. Tent are luxury wild , means no water, safari shower, no hair dresser but big and placed in a great spot. Camp has no... More

We live in Nairobi and have travelled widely in Kenya at all levels of accommodation. We came to Elephant Pepper to watch the migration, having had a marvellous experience at Loisaba, their sister camp, in January. Elephant Pepper's conservancy is a major plus. Chance to see the game in Mara North with no other vehicles around - we saw same... More

I'll admit that I am somewhat influenced by wanting my experience of going on safari to be as close as possible to a scene from the film 'Out of Africa,' but could never have expected it to be this good. Cheli and Peacock are right at the top end of the safari experience but I will make two points here:... More

I am posting a very late review!! My husband and I visited in the fall of 2011. We met Patrick and Sophia (the current hosts) but the camp was under different leadership at that time. We also visited two other camps (amboseli and lewa) and this was the closest to nature out of the 3. The camp is run in... More

We had 3 days and four nights at Elephant Pepper Camp - we enjoyed every minute, from the welcome of hosts Patrrick and Sophia, to the luxurious tent with en-suite eco-friendly bathroom and shower, and views of the wilderness around us. We felt very safe in the protection of Masai warriors who guided us from our tent to the mess... More

OVERALL: Our family of 2 adults and 2 children (ages 9 and 7) spent December 30 to January 2 (3 nights) in the Honeymoon/Family tent at Elephant Pepper. While it is admittedly the most money we have ever every spent for lodging, anywhere, it was worth it. The price includes 3 full meals a day, all your drinks (even beer/wine/alcohol),... More

Nestled in a treeline EPC offers a private and luxurious hideaway in the Masai Mara that brings you closer to nature than any other. At night we were escorted by Masai warriors from the dining tent to our accommodation tents with the elephants, lion and hyena nestled in the darkness only yards away. Nature here is tantalisingly close. By day... More

We had a truly wonderful time in Elephant Pepper, we stayed in early July in the honeymoon tent. Which has to be the largest tent it is possible to produce, all the tents look wonderful, but the size, seclusion and the views of the animals made this one extra special. I loved spending time drinking Tusker in the hammock watching... More

Again a great a tented camp tucked in a small woodland area looking over a open savanna, run again by a husband and wife team with loads of experience. The tents were excellent a step up from others we have stayed in, as the shower and toilet was included in the “building” and it had wired in LED lighting just... More
