OVERALL: Our family of 2 adults and 2 children (ages 9 and 7) spent December 30 to January 2 (3 nights) in the Honeymoon/Family tent at Elephant Pepper. While it is admittedly the most money we have ever every spent for lodging, anywhere, it was worth it. The price includes 3 full meals a day, all your drinks (even beer/wine/alcohol),... More

Nestled in a treeline EPC offers a private and luxurious hideaway in the Masai Mara that brings you closer to nature than any other. At night we were escorted by Masai warriors from the dining tent to our accommodation tents with the elephants, lion and hyena nestled in the darkness only yards away. Nature here is tantalisingly close. By day... More

We had a truly wonderful time in Elephant Pepper, we stayed in early July in the honeymoon tent. Which has to be the largest tent it is possible to produce, all the tents look wonderful, but the size, seclusion and the views of the animals made this one extra special. I loved spending time drinking Tusker in the hammock watching... More

Again a great a tented camp tucked in a small woodland area looking over a open savanna, run again by a husband and wife team with loads of experience. The tents were excellent a step up from others we have stayed in, as the shower and toilet was included in the “building” and it had wired in LED lighting just... More

We stayed here for three nights and it was the star of our Africa adventure. Sophie and Callum manage a superior property and bring their own stories, sense of humour and genuine interest in people to the experience. The food was good and all aspects of the service great. We will return. More

We stayed three nights in this camp on our honeymoon and we were very pleased. The camp is fairly intimate with a small number of tents, so you get very personalized service in terms of game drives, walks, setting up your bush showers, etc. We also liked that this camp is semi permanent and not fenced in. True, there is... More

My husband and I recently stayed here while on safari and we had the best time. Our guide, Juma, was AMAZING. He has a great sense of humor and really knew his stuff. He took us to see some amazing things and was open to finding the animals that we were most interested in seeing. Sophie and Calum, the managers,... More

We arrived at EPC after a harrowing trip from the US to Kenya. But, upon our arrival were met by Sophie and her staff with a cool refreshing drink and a warm welcome. We loved our three nights there. The camp was exactly what we were expecting-we appreciated the eco-friendliness of the camp and found it to be basic but... More

I stayed here for just one night back in March - sorry for the delay in posting this review ! Run by a really personable Scottish guy called Calum (whose sister I found out lives in my home town of Weybridge, talk about small world) and his Kenyan wife Sophie, you are welcomed warmly and given a drink while you...
