This was the last camp on our itinerary. The camp is cleverly hidden in the trees and apart from the mast you would not know of its existence. We were greeted by Patrick and Sophie on arrival and shown to our tents. Very spacious and airy with great bathrooms and loads of hot water. The best thing was sleeping with... More

Upon checking out of Elephant Pepper Camp I told their wonderful staff that I expected a 3 or 4 star safari but received a 5 star experience. Wild life viewing in the dry is beyond belief. Lions crossing the Mara, Leopard, Fish Eagle, Vulture, Hippo, Cheetah, Cape Buffalo, Elephant and the list goes on. A bush walk, sun downers, and... More

We stayed in Elephant Pepper for 4 nights in December. The camp is newly renovated and everything looks nice. We were family of 5, and booked the family tent (3 beds in 1 'room' and 1 bed in another) and a single tent. The tents are comfortable (if rather draughty on the windy nights), beds are soft. Mosquito repellents, hot... More

Our safari worked out perfectly and smoothly. It was perfect, the tent, the food, the safari guide, the hospitality and off course, the ambience at the camp was great. At our safari, our safari guide did a terrific job with many lovely sights, that we will cherish for the future. So, in other words, I have nothing to complain about... More

Many thanks to Patrick & Sophie (manager), Francis (our guide) and to all the staff to have made that second stay (3 nights) an other unforgettable one. North Conservancy is as worth as much as Mara itself, believe repeaters ! Elephant Pepper Camp is an authentic place you should experience in Kenya. Small camp, no fence, wonderful decoration, good food,... More

We (5 adults, 3 children) stayed at Elephant Pepper Camp for 3 nights and it was such an amazing and memorable experience. The camp is not fenced in which gives it a true wilderness feeling. The tents contained anything you could want on safari, an extra kikoi for warmth on cool evenings, torch, mosquito repellent, a short-circuit radio if you... More

Wonderful location, not far from the Mara river, this is an amazing place to stay. Luxurious tents & an atmospheric dining area& bar, open to the bush with a campfire to complete the idyllic scene. Game drives from here can be truly memorable, with really good guides (James & George) whose enthusiasm for the place & the animals is infectious.... More

This is overdue but I read so many reviews when planning our trip, I know these count! This was our first time going to Africa and our first safari experience. We landed late morning to the warm reception of our guide George, who led us on a scenic route to the camp. We had a mini game drive and within 5 minutes of arrival had seen a herd of elephants and The Marsh pride of lions. We witnessed elephant vs elephant and lion vs elephant fight. We got to the... Small and intimate, luxurious, beautiful, but at the same time you couldn't be closer to the Mara's nature. Go here for the real safari experience. Our guide George was brilliant and manager Patrick is cool too. Food good, nice touches like hot water bottle, camp fire and open bar!
