This camp was the best one we experienced in three weeks travelling in East Africa. It was welcoming, beautifully appointed, eco-friendly and efficiently run by Darren and Emma whose attention to detail and standards convinced us we were in safe hand. At the same time they created an air of relaxation which was transmitted to all the other guests. The... More

It's difficult to explain just how amazing our time here was. In the words of Mary Poppins, it was "practically perfect in every way". From the warm welcome we got when we arrived (after 11 hours travelling), through to the excellent guide we had, we couldn't have hoped for a better safari experience. The tent we had was wonderfully luxurious,... More

There are not enough words to describe what a truly amazing place Kicheche Bush Camp is. This is the real Africa at its best and it will remain in our memories forever. The minute you arrive after a drive from the airfield that counts as your first safari, you are made to feel totally at home with Darren & Emma... More

From the moment you step from the steps of your small 'plane you feel you have arrived in wildest Africa. The Maasai guides and attendants, lead by the hosts, Darren and Emma in camp are fantastic and the luxury tents so welcoming...especially the hot-water bottles in the beds each night! I hope they never update the bucket showers-they add to... More

A small camp ably hosted by Darren and Emma who are always working to ensure each guest has their very best experience. This ethos is equally evident in the guides who have a degree of autonomy that enables them to respond to situations and individual preferences. In our case Patrick combined his great knowledge and commitment to provide intelligent and... More

As titled, this trip was planned to be a 'Once in a life time trip', something I had wanted to do since 10 years old. Thanks to Kicheche Bush Camp, myself and my fiancee will definately be returning. Darren and Emma ( camp managers) were excellent hosts from start to finish. Our driver and tour guide Patrick was fantastic, extremely... More

This was our first safari experience, and we all agreed it was an amazing experience and would do it again tomorrow. This needs to be set in the context of our two teenagers (16 and 18) with no phone/electric sockets in the tent, myself (not a great animal lover or camper), and my husband (on crutches following a snapped Achilles... We are a family with 3 teenage kids and spent a fantastic three days at Kicheche Bush Camp. The tents are spacious, stylish and comfortable, no bugsm no creepy crawlies. The ambience is straight "Out of Africa" and the staff were delightful. Emma and Darren the hotel managers were engaging and charming, they hosted beautiful alfresco lunches and candlelit dinners.... I stayed at Kicheche Bush Camp for a few days on a safari holiday in Kenya. Food was good. Drinks were included. The camp comprises a small number of eco-friendly tents. The lighting is solar powered with a stand-by generator. This leaves the tents rather dimly lit. Heating is provided by hot water bottles in the beds. The photo opportunities... More
