Acki, - the assistant manager, could not have done more to give us an unforgetable time. The guiding, by Patrick, was spot on even though we just sat waiting for three hours for 'The crossing' which eventually happened - thanks for that. The food was some of the best we had on this trip, very tasty and well served. A special... More

We spent 3 nights at Kicheche Bush Camp as part of a six night trip. The tents are lovely and have all the amenities you need. Joseph who looked after our tent, organised our bucket showers and brought us our early morning coffee and biscuits did an excellent job of taking care of us and always had a cheery word... More

If you are looking for a safari holiday of a lifetime then this camp is a truly a wonderful place to visit. From the moment we were picked up by Francis our driver for the three days at the Mara North airstrip right through to our flight back to Nairobi we were looked after like royalty but made to feel... I can't say enough about our experience at Bush Camp. I think it best to make a list so I don't leave anything out. 1. Darren and Emma, the camp managers treat you like long lost friends while tending to all your needs. The family style dining while eating the marvelously prepared fresh meals leads to a comradeship I very... More

On arrival at kicheche bush camp we were met by Aki who was a wonderful host. She was there every early morning before we went on safari drives and was always there when we got back. Our guide driver was Charles who was fantastic. He knew we were keen photographers and wanted us to experience the time we had to... More

My friends and I spent the most wonderful 3 days imaginable. From the moment we were greeted by Emma and Darren, we were made to feel like family. The camp itself is beautiful with all the amenities and more. The tents are comfortable and beautiful, and I loved the bucket shower. The food was in a class by itself, as... More

Somehow kicheche manages to achieve an excellent standard with very little on hand. And even more amazing, our safaris were always conducted with the utmost respect and consideration for the animals. We expected it to be pretty good based on the price but you can never be sure what you'll get when you travel to remote regions in developing nations.... More

We stayed here for 2 nights on our honeymoon and our only complaint was that it wasn't long enough! Emma and Darren were very welcoming and instantly put as at our ease and we really liked the hosted style of the camp - it felt much more relaxed than the more formal set up we experienced elsewhere. The tents are... More

Kicheche Bush was a fantastic paradise in the Mara. It is an unfenced bush camp that makes for great animal noises when falling asleep at night. The tents are beautifully done, modern in style with all the ammenities you could need in the wilderness. The food is delicious and their dining attendant Kennedy is a wonderful, cheery guy who bends... More

Highlights included the three-course breakfast on the hill under an acacia tree, with nobody in sight and tens of thousands of wildebeest on the plains below Campari and orange sundowner with the lions Being welcomed like a old friend by Darren and Emma A tent bigger than my flat in London, with hot showers James our silver-qualified guide
