We stayed at this lodge while on a safari in July 2007 but I just noticed that I never finished reviewing the lodges for that trip. Our experience here was very brief- one night. We were upgraded here after we had booked and paid for the safari and only stayed for one night-a $200 increase in price. We had a... More

Whilst on holiday for two weeks in the Voyager Resort, Kenya we booked a 3 day air safari to the Masai Mara with Bruno who operated on the beach at the Voyager on behalf of a local travel agency! Before we went to Kenya, we had read all about people booking safaris with vendors on the beach and this guy... More

This hotel was located 1000 feet above the Mara River over looking the National Reserve. There was a central complex housing all the public areas - lounges, dining romm and bars with the swimming pool area adjacent. The accommodation was in individual thatched huts and connected to the central area by pathways. Each of the huts was circular and had... More

This was our first visit to Kenya and so, of course on safari here. We were inundated with ideas and offers as to which safari to take and eventually went for the Masai Mara overnight. Mainly for two reasons, firstly we didn't know what to expect as to whether we would enjoy it or not and didn't want to stay... More

My boyfriend and I have just returned from the best safari experience ever. We stayed in Mpata Safari Club in Massai Mara after one night in the Nairobi Safari Club (highly recommended hotel - not modern but with a soul). We flew from Wilson airport in Nairobi and boarded a little Kenya Airways flight. We were met at the airstrip... More
