Just one of the best experiences ever. The camp is located in the Ol Kiney Conservancy. A peaceful and wonderful place. With only a few tents you feel in a short time at home. The staff is super friendly, the chef cook a master and the managment professional. It was an unique experience being in the middle of a diverse... More

I loved this camp and the people that run it. Jimmy the manager is so friendly and welcoming! I was sitting on my porch one afternoon and when I looked up there was an impala standing right in front of me! My first game drive we ended up about 10 feet from a sleeping male lion! I hit gold! Had... More

We visited Porini Amboseli, Porini Lion, and then came to Porini Mara last. It's the smallest of the camps, but it's absolutely lovely and our family liked it the best. The setting and location are beautiful and the staff professional but relaxed and very, very friendly. The conservancy where this camp is located gets less vehicle traffic than the other... More

Roasted meat... The highlight of our stay. When out guides Jeffrey and Tipa talked about Masai culture, and eating all meat, we asked if it was possible to roast a goat in the Masai tradition. We paid our cook for a goat and treated the staff to a wonderful meal in the bush! We ate under a sky full of... More

My husband and I had a great experience in Ol Kinyei conservancy. The landscape is beautiful and wildlife is amazing, the highlights of our trip was seeing over 100 elephants one morning and twice a cheetah mother hunting and feeding with her 5 cubs. As this conservancy is leased by Gamewatchers the amount of cars and tents are limited, which... More

everything is great about the camp, best part are the conversations with various guests at lunch and before dinner. The lion pride in the conservancy is excellent to watch. The guide are too good, and it's better to stay here than in mara.

This is a wonderful place! Did not realize how special the ability to go "off road" was until we spent some time in other parks where there are restrictions on where vehicles can go - and also how many show up there is news of something "interesting" (aka - pride of lions, leopard etc.). The conservancy feels like your own... More

Porini Mara provided us a dream come true safari! Everything was done to perfection. The camp manager, Jimmy, greets you on arrival with warm cloths to wipe your face and hands and a cool drink. The tents are nicely appointed and all of the staff greet you by name. The food is delicious and well presented and served. Simon and... More

Just returned from a two day (followed by one day stay at Porini Lion) stay at Porini Maya. The service was excellent, the staff attentive, gracious and very hospitable. It is a small intimate camp, just perfect for a solo traveler, although most guests were not. The location is lovely, by a river, lots of trees, tents spaced out, with... More
