I wish I was able to stay longer. The guide was fantastic and knew exactly how to position the vehicle so that I could get great pictures. The food was great and the staff where very friendly. Overall great experience.

a family holiday, an unforgettable , visit to Paradise. The Fig Tree camp staff and guides were excellent in their service and hospitality. The guides had in depth knowledge of the reserve/Game Park. the guides had names of the animals , like the two brothers ( young lions), Kranjha the Rhino, Shakira the leopard. The Masai did an amazing welcome... More

An amazing two days stay in the tents by the river side in the wild amongst animals. First of a kind experience in the luxurious zipped tents,, with well provided and maintained facilities. Another added feature was the gripping game drive and the beautiful hot air balloon ride organised by the camp. We being vegetarians, felt at home as they... More

amazing place, great tent(rooms - that look luxury for me) facing the river and jungle. Very comfortable rooms and bed, we didn't sleep much first night, but because we can ear all the animal sounds just outside the room. Be carful with the baboons, remember one crossing or way, on the walk to the room, never seen a baboon that... More

I was here last time on March 1988. Tents are now a bit better.....last time we had toilet behind the tent, just unzip the back of the tent and there was the toilet on open sky! When we arrived, it was so dark that I did not understand that there were no walls. I put my soap, sponge and toothbrush... More

An amazing and luxious camp in the bush. Tent is very comfortable and peaceful. Staff is very kind and the restaurant is nice. One negative point : too many chinese group... you should arrive before them at the buffet if you want to eat something !

We had a wonderful experience at Masai Mara - thanks to Joseph (our guide / driver) of JT safaris. JT arranged for us to stay at the Fig Tree camp which was excellent - great food and lovely tented camp. The wildlife at Masai Mara was amazing - we saw lions and cheetahs with their cubs, wildebeest crossing, hyena /... More

Location of the camp in the Mara is absolutely amazing. Lots of neat things, including the foot bridge over the river, the bush breakfast and the crocodile directly across the river from our tent. I have been on a few safaris and this time saw the most wildebeests and lions I had ever seen on a safari. Food was very... More

A unique experience on the edge of the river in the heart of the Maassai Mara. The tents were comfortable, clean, and attractive. The camp is located about 10 minutes from the wildebeest migration. Animals galore are available for the viewing. The staff was very helpful, and the grounds were well cared for. A not to be missed experience.

Once-in-a-lifetime experience for our family (four teenagers, one grandparent in 80s). Tent accommodations were delightful and comfortable, especially the marble-clad bathrooms. Photo safaris were great, with friendly and knowledgeable guides and great vehicles. Food was as good as it gets considering location. Don't give up on the Masai Mara - go visit!
